  1. In part. But good offense means taking the chances you are given and they've done that (Ortiz pop out not inclueded)
  2. Before I advocate for Yoho I want to get through G and W Anderson, Easton McGee, García and Jay. Edit: woops forgot Bukauskas is injured again. I think Oh and C-Rod pitched a gem in Nashville yesterday.
  3. Worst part of it all is that the bats are not playing terribly. 70 pitches on Fried and we aren't even out of the 4th. And 4 runs.
  4. That's not what I said. I agree with sending Yoho to AAA. 1. Preserve depth. DFAing guys is not the move right now with so many injured/below replacement level guys on the roster. 2. Service time. Manipulating it sucks for the players. Absolutely. But those are the rules of the game and the only way we can stay competitive. Yoho looks like the next star closer and we need to keep him for as long as possible
  5. Misiorowski would be up here to walk 5 guys per 9 and get shelled. Kid isn't ready. If you want a prospect advocate for Yoho
  6. I'm guessing one of the Grants gets selected and sent up today
  7. Silver lining- We might get a Cy Bauers appearance!
  8. I think Thomas will be heading back to Memphis
  9. Even if Nestor had gone 1-2-3 I will continue to consider Rea's release really stupid.
  10. Bats are backing Nestor up. If he can get through 4 more innings without giving up more homers then we have ourselves a ballgame
  11. A sneaky awful move by Arnold the offseason.
  12. Nestor the giving up another one part was in blue in case you didn't see
  13. Umm. Well I guess it can only go up from here. Unless he gives up another one!
  14. MiLB roster day! (probably) And Nashville plays! Fun!
  15. Opening day! Finally! Go gettem! Ps. Finally treego's poetry is back
  16. He's going to miss 2 starts maaaybe 3. My comment is regarding that period
  17. So its looking like firs 4 in the rotation to start will be Peralta, Civale, Cortes, Patrick. Number 5 is a question mark. I dont trust Rodriguez to start so maybe some sort of Alexander-Thomas piggyback? Maybe Koenig for an inning or two and then give the ball to Alexander/Thomas/Rodriguez for 3-4?
  18. I don't put much stock on spring numbers. Only two exceptions for this are prospects (good to see how they perform vs big leaguers) and fringe roster guys. (your Capras and Garcías who are competing for the last place on the pen/bench).
  19. McKendry with a really rough inning. 30 pitches, only one out, 6 runs and a grand slam to Julio Rodríguez. And Bowman, who's had a really great spring thus far, comes in and immediately surrenders a homer to Raleigh and a double to Arozarena
