  1. Bauers doing his best to stay on the team. 0.818 OPS the last 7 games
  2. Which sucks. I though his hit tool would make him at least a solid OBP starter in the bottom of the order. Its not looking like it. As he loses speed with age it will only get worse
  3. The hit tool is carrying them so far, but it did for Frelick too (70 grade lol). They are both only with the Rattlers so a long way to go. I want to see how they do in the Southern League and International League with much more competent pitchers. I would bet on Lara rather than O'Rae
  4. Man, Small I had high hopes for. Sad it never came to be
  5. Players must serve suspensions on the active roster. Gasser will most likely replace Herget
  6. What a job by Koenig to wiggle out of a bases loaded jam and give a strong performance to bridge the gap to the 6th
  7. Great job Koenig to get out of that
  8. Been meaning to watch Masters of the Air. Glad to hear its good. Argylle I think is just dumb fun, not meant to be taken seriously. Napoleon I 100% agree. I had high expectations with Joaquin Phoenix and it was a really big let down.
  9. Really good movie just watched it. I liked the idea of following the photojournalists as a way of exploring the conflict. Not sure I liked the ending.
  10. The Mudcats and Woodducks are in a rain delay
  11. Herget did his job in mop up. Horrible outing for Joel.
  12. Perkins as a hitter, might be AAAA, sure. But who are the alternatives? Wiemer? Roller? Brewer Hicklen is performing well in Nashville but lets not kid ourselves there is a reason the guy was a minor league free agent and has 4 career PAs in the majors at 28. And you cannot ignore defense, especially with this team. 10 OAA and a 23.6 UZR/150 over his 648 innings long MLB career are insanely good. Elite even. Sanchez has a 0.340 wOBA and 120 wRC+ going into today. Top of the league in xwOBA, xBA, xSLG, Barrel% and HardHit%. He will never be an MVP but he is a very solid backup catcher.
  13. Bauers, Dunn sure. Perkins is a great 4th OF. One of the best defenders at his position, Sánchez is doing what he is paid to do. Hit bombs and give Contreras off days.
  14. Allowed a run in a close game, Got into the bullpen early with one of the best arms, when our depth is struggling.
  15. 86 pitches vs the Cubs May 3rd. 99 vs Yankees April 27 79 vs Pirates April 22
  16. 5 IP 67 pitches and Murphy pulls him? I mean he gave up the walk but come on you can't do that
