  1. In 633 career ABs versus lefties he has a .888 OPS against. In 775 career ABs versus righties he has a .709 OPS against. Also 74 walks vs lefties and 47 vs righties
  2. Bryse is not a starter. He excelled at long relief last year because that is who he is. He was thrusted into a starter role thanks to injuries.
  3. Having a shortstop at first pays off. Not sure Bauers makes the play. Hoskins definitively doesnt
  4. Decent throw by Chourio but just late
  5. First look at Mona in first base. Lets see how it goes
  6. Junis tossed 2 1/3. 1H 1ER 2BB 1K. Topped out at 91.4, sitting 89-90
  7. The Admirals fought hard but the Firebirds were just better. Good season though
  8. Win! See Murphy? Chourio CAN hit in leverage spots!
  9. We signed him today. Last guy on the bullpen. Not great has been horrible with the Dodgers so far. Probably only here to pitch garbage innings until Tuesday when C-Rod comes up
  10. Once he's back the Mitch White and Elieser Hernandez of the world will be pushed out of the bullpen simply from the lack of space
  11. .361 OPS in June .811 OPS in March/April Really streaky
  12. Its why I love Colin Rea. Freddy is the team's best starter and in theory a good number 2 but he underperforms a lot of the time. Colin is in the bottom quartile in most statcast metrics and yet he goes out there every 5th day and gives the team a chance to win. Scrappy guy who just gets the job done.
  13. Yeah I know and its probably more of a roster construction move but it still sucks. This knee thing doesn't sound great. I'm worried that if he pitches through it, as he says he plans to, he will continue to struggle, or worse, aggravate the injury. The PRP injection would keep him out until september
  14. Not enough innings to be ranked but those statcast numbers for Elisier are just ugly. Fastball lacking velo or IVB from what I can see. Slider seems nothing special and changeup consistently ranked as among the worst in baseball. Hopefully we squeeze a couple of clean innings out of him. The DL Hall news suck. Especially after he was so close to coming back. I hope he comes back in time for September.
  15. Meeker pitched yesterday and Wednesday. They probably just want a fresh arm for some garbage innings during the weekend. I guess either him or Myers go down on Tuesday morning.
  16. That deep double by Rhys would have been a homer in AmFam
  17. Don't get me wrong I love Meeker and I respect his journey from indy to MLB but I never in a million years would have guessed he would be up by early June. These injuries are devastating.
  18. All of this plus possibly Gasser now. I know there was not enough work done on the rotation in the offseason but seriously who could have seen this coming? Who's next after Gasser? Chad Patrick? Ashby? C-Rod? Can Junk or Stallings eat innings?
  19. Me either. Gettem tomorrow. Don't waste the pen today
  20. You give up a homer to Dahl??? Come on Bryse lock in
  21. Appeared in only 1 game with the Orioles. 0 IP, 1 H, 4 BB, 3 ER. Has now been DFA'd.
