  1. I hope Malik gets paiddd. Tune passing TD to Isaiah Neyor next week will hit like crack. Season's done. Just watching when I'm bored/have nothing else to do
  2. I like Vaugh but putting him over two consensus top 100 prospects feels wrong. Especially if the question you seek to answer is "Which current players in the organization are most indispensable to fulfilling the vision of building a champion?".
  3. We'd had the same artificial tree for something like 15 years, but it got ruined in the summer when the water tank malfunctioned and flooded the storage room. Thankfully, a cousin was looking to get rid of her artificial tree so she gifted it to us. My cat is waaay calmer than some of yours guys so we've had no incidents on that front.
  4. I think he will get a real chance to fight for that 5th OF spot. Assuming Chourio, Frelick, Mitchell (if healthy) and Perkins are locks, he probably has to beat Lockridge, Berroa and Badoo. Possibly Bauers too.
  5. To add to the Quero numbers: He has only caught 1 of 12 (8%) basestealers so far in the Venezuela Winter League.
  6. I think thats just the difference between good vs elite teams. Good teams can be just as talented but elite teams are consistent and resilient. The Packers are good. When he's on, Love is top 5. The defense can be stellar. The o-line and receiver group are good if unspectacular. But the team is inconsistent. Injuries aside, this group lacks the resilience needed to win a SB.
  7. Munetaka Murakami to the White Sox??? I do not understand why no one else signed him. Problematic underlying numbers?
  8. Too expensive to be worth it IMHO. Gasser/Henderson + Kuehner/Hunt + Boeve/Wilken is 100% not doing it. This trade starts with Made/Peña/Pratt and then a couple other top 20 kids.
  9. Good for Hoby. Sucks that its with the Cubbies.
  10. You dont throw that against Surtain. And now Watson is done
  11. We got lucky on that one. He wasnt down
  12. Wow! Ah **** now Tom again
  13. Bad D on the TD and then another ST penalty. Great!
  14. Packers Special Teams strike again!
  15. Rivers looks soooooo old. Seriously, that's the best the Colts could do?
  16. And its entirely possible both players provide over 3 wins combined. Many things are possible
  17. Zerpa could be an interesting guy. The high GB% should play well with our FIP beater defense. Collins AND Mears feels a bit steep though. Maybe some cash comes our way? Best of luck to Isaac. Hopefully he can stick in the bigs. It certainly feels like he can earn a spot when the competition is Isbel, Lane Thomas, Tolbert and Rave
  18. Somewhere in the $2-4 million range with innings incentives maybe? I wouldn't mind. Pitching depth is always good
  19. I'd guess he's ahead of Berroa, Sammy Peralta, McGee and Rob-Z. Maybe Seigler? Not the first to go but in the top 5 for sure. A 1.25M contract is peanuts in 2026 MLB money. Barring injury or insane overperformance he will spend his time patrolling the Nashville grass. Maybe he has an opt-out?
  20. Meh. Solid depth. The minor leagues are starved for outfielders so this helps with that. DFA candidate if we sign someone else.
  21. Oh yeah probably. The other spots are still interesting. O'Rae? Brown? I love Nicasia and the others but Southern League pitching will eat them alive
  22. Post Rule-5 shenannigans: Thoughts on not protecting Warren? Was he redundant (I dont like the word but I dont know how else to say it) with Peña, Made, Adams, Wilken, Fischer, Boeve and Burke? All way ahead of him in 1B/3B? Thoughts on new acquisition Phillips? What do you think happens with the outfield? An already thin group lost Perez and Spain, and Lara could go to Nashville amy day now. I doubt that an outfield consisting of Alastre-García-Nicasia would be successful in AA
  23. I can understand from a roster construction standpoint why they did it. Probably the logical thing to do. Doesn't mean I like it. Beyond being org depth, these guys play their hearts out day in and day out, so it is sad to see guys like Perez or Warren who've spent years in the organisation leave so suddenly. I obviously wish them the very best and hope to see them in an MLB roster one day
