    That's funny that that guy knows so much about the crew. I liked him. He was an informed heckler. Which is the way it should be.

    Yeah DHonks, Krynzel was Pods Jr. in Spring training. I liked the way he looked in spring, however if this is what he was using in Nashville and put those numbers with, it's fine by me.

    Ryan Rohlinger just got drafted as a SS to the Cardinals with the 650th pick. He's a Wisconsinite, and in my opinion a steal in the 21st round.

    Ryan Rohlinger from Oklahoma went undrafted today, which was suprising to me.

    Well, I guess we just agree to disagree. Hopefully, Branyan will turn it around soon.

    Branyan = 37 K's / 109 PA = 34% Branyan = .847 OPS = 4th among starters...ahead of Lee, Jenkins, Spivey, Miller, et al. Stats don't lie; people do.

    Clark has more than twice the at bats as Branyan has had this season, so Clarks having more home runs shouldn't be relavent. Leaving Overbay and Branyan on the bench is a huge mistake in my opinion. And yes, Branyan is one of our better players.

    Changing Branyan's swing because he is hurting? I don't like that idea, if he's hurt he should be on the DL; not changing his swing.

    How did the Pirates get David Ross?...and Ty Wiggington now is going to be taken out after that chugging performance.

    Jenkins needs to go the way of Biggio, and eliminate that darn leg kick. I know he's used it his whole career, but he's so committed to swinging that half the pitches he swings at are balls.

    Was it Daron Sutton? He could wear in on air. That would be great advertising. He did start calling Russell "the Muscle" yesterday.

    I went to the game today, and I was a little uncomfortable with the Helms booing. I am as big a supporter of Branyan as anybody, and have disliked Helms for a long time. However, I thought it was uncalled for on Opening Day, and also when he has been on the bench to start the season. This I liked: Branyan's first home run went way more than 465 more like over 500 ft. Jorge De La Rosa got a good ovation as did Cirillo. Wise and Adams pitched well. I think the casual fan is finally excited. It's good to see.

    He started throwing overhand instead of his usual elbow shattering quasi side arm. There has to be something wrong.

    I'm suprised they are going to let him continue. But that's Dusty for ya. Why be careful with your only pitcher with ace stuff that hasn't gotten hurt yet? edit: well he soesn't seem hurt.
