  1. I'd probably look into taking a class at a local tech school. Once I decided to shift careers, I took a few classes at MATC and found a job I love. Cost is low, plus the feedback and resume-worthy experience was worth it, at least for me. Also, most places will offer courses online, so if you have an odd work schedule, you can still do it.
  2. I'm sitting in 160, which is just past 3rd base. I'm sure you'll have better seats than I.
  3. Harden has a no hitter through 4! (jinx)
  4. I'll be there, sitting pretty close Thursday night. I'll try and get a few photos.

  6. New arena for Bucks = Miller Park!

  8. When my dad was in the Navy and we lived in SC, we would go to Captain D's on Tuesdays for kids-eat-free day. I haven't had it in 15+ years, but I remember it being pretty decent.
  9. Yea, I should be given 2 errors for throws to first... both were my fault.
  10. I'd go for Field Outfield down the 1st base line if it is within your budget. There is a brand new, massive kid zone right behind the seats there, so you would be very close to that. Also, you can still see the field from that area, so you could possibly see some of the game during playtime.

  12. I'll bet he ends up with a nice exhibit in the HOF. I doubt he'll be inducted as a player, but he opened the door for players like Ichiro, Johjima, Matsui, DiceK amongst others.
  13. I'm a game time decision... massive headache.
  14. I'd be pretty surprised if LA got the All-Star game in 2 consecutive years. I'd guess a choice of KC, MIN, AZ, SD, WAS.
  15. I'm fine with that Happy, depending on the week. Paying guys will always play first, so it will be a week-by-week decision.
  16. Technically, everybody is supposed to drive in the right lane, and only use the left while actively passing a car. Of course, neither the slow group or the fast group actually abide by the law, and as a result they despise each other's existence. Riding somebody's bumper is a good way to get killed, especially when doing 75+ MPH. Since I like to think I have something to live for, I'll patiently wait back a few carlengths until the slower car has finished passing traffic in the right lane. 99 times out of 100, they will move over once they are complete, and both that driver and myself are free from the road rage.
  17. Foul ball.
  18. Basically every thing you can think of to bend a rule happened in the 1800's: Blowing a bunted ball on the line foul - now illegal Intentionally dropping a pop-up to get a double play - now illegal via infield fly, intentionally dropped ball bobbling a ball to the infield - first touch I'm sure there is more, but it is pretty hard to find a loophole 150 years in.

  20. Best wishes with the healing. And please feel free to swing by and coach a base, make the lineup, or just generally hang out. There will be a spot waiting for you whenever you decide you want to play again.
  21. Brett, do me a Favro and go away. You retired. The team drafted quarterbacks, and built as if you were not going to be there. You are not lord of the NFL or GB.
