  1. Really happy to see that for Blake fellas :)
  2. Man he was a confirmed wife beater and had multiple violent crimes against women and family members. I once read the police report on what he did in Wisconsin and it was horrific. Dragged her through the house, beat her in different rooms, threatened to get her deported. It lasted HOURS. Guy was a monster. I can root for some guys of questionable or dubious character, but not that.
  3. I almost wished he didn’t score because I don’t want to see Chafin. I think it’s harder on a closer to quickly warm up in a very hurried fashion to go bail someone out of an inning then it is to just prepare for the 9th and only that inning.
  4. I know Monasterio recovered on that play with a big arm, but the Stretch by Santana is something I think Rowdy would have had to come off the bag for. Rowdy is a lot taller but that stretch required a little more athleticism then one might think at first blush. I think his defense at first has been a difference maker.
  5. Trust me I get as frustrated as anybody, I just think they’ve played really well for the most part lately, and it’s hard to string together very long win streaks when on the best days your offense is average. They’ve won a lot of games lately. They’re trying to be very careful and stop overusing their A bullpen. If that’s the case I think they’re gonna lose occasionally but compared to earlier in the year I’m very happy with the way this teams playing.
  6. Well, they had to lose sometime. Just sucks that they did it on a couple baserunning blunders.
  7. I kinda feel bad that Victor didn’t get his chance to play hero :(
  8. I like this guy a lot!! Just his guile and presence :))
  9. I’m surprised Santana didn’t catch that hop to home plate.
  10. Yeah it’s weird, when he looses his command I get worried, but then I like forget - he doesn’t give up hits.
  11. Well, we do know the guy I’m specifically talking about, Thyago Vieira is available.
  12. Even though he just missed it, the fact that as a rookie Frelick can just come off the bench and calmly smack a ball like that, when that’s not even his strength, bespeaks a really good future in this league.
  13. Willys just gotta be a better baseball player.
  14. Well I stand corrected. Maybe that will help turn Chafin around. Really thought Willy didn’t need to make that such a dangerous throw.
  15. See this is where Craig’s stubbornness hurts. There isn’t an actual reason to warm up the guy who has been the worst pitcher in the league over the last month when you have a guy who throws 100 you just called up. There are other guys to use too.
  16. The addition of Cantanha ties the game :))
  17. I know it’s not the case, but sometimes it seriously seems as if Brewers hitters writ large don’t appreciate the importance of not hitting a ground ball with a runner on first and less than two outs.
  18. Yeah for some reason Craig is using Chafin instead of seeing what they have in Veira. And it shouldn’t be the left handed thing because of course Chafin has reverse splits.
  19. Santana is REALLY good at pickin hops at first base.
  20. Not a lot of catchers beat that out.
  21. I really like this lineup. I can’t remember the last time the Crew had 3 switch hitters in a lineup.
  22. I’m really impressed because they didn’t put them away when they had so many chances and by the 8th inning, not only had the momentum completely swung to the Nationals, it seemed like every bloop was falling and just plain “luck” was against our Crew. I think only the best teams calmly say “Nah, we’ll make our own momentum.” Earlier in the year I think the Crew loses this game. They showed some pure, calm winners’ mindset today.
