  1. It never crossed my mind that it was showing someone up when it is a 88 degree humid evening in Atlanta.
  2. Just like the polo grounds where foul territory had almost as many sq. ft. as fare territory. https://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/ballparks/polo-grounds/
  3. Hitting .349 in the last 15 games looks good to me, his problem has always been staying healthy.
  4. Austin Riley signed a 10 year , $212,000,000 contract with the Atlanta Braves, including $212,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $21,200,000. In 2024, Riley will earn a base salary of $21,000,000, while carrying a total salary of $21,000,000.
  5. Haase is a good hitter also, I agree Contreras needs to recharge his batteries for the playoffs. Black also could split time with Hoskins at 1st.
  6. The Braves remain atop the NL Wild Card standings, and they entered Sunday still just five games behind the first-place Phillies in the division standings. But they split a four-game set with the Marlins, who came to Atlanta having lost 15 of their past 25 games. I hope we catch them at the right time. I also think Collen Rea got an extra days rest for this one, I hope he is on tonight.
  7. I agree, but the Cards have been known in the past to put together several 10 game win streaks at the end of the season. In 2021 they had a 17 game win streak. So they still worry me just because of the history.
  8. We better go at least 15 & 13 or we will be in big trouble.
  9. You got me there he is having a good season. Flaherty traded to Dodgers for two prospects. My only reasoning is we can't hang with teams like the Dodgers and Yankees if they want something because there both worth about 7 billion dollars each.
  10. Tell me one player that was traded this deadline who would have made a noticeable difference for the Brewers? Despite a highly active MLB trade deadline, the biggest stars didn't budge.
  11. I think the Brewers seen something bad in Junis because in his 1st outing for the Reds he gave up 3 runs in 1.1 innings. His ERA with Cincy is now 20.25

  13. Ever since I made tomorrow my favorite day, I've been in better spirits.
  14. Cardinals won so the Brewers lost a game in the standing also.
  15. Picture came back on at 5pm, they only had enough money in the budget for 1/2 the game today.
  16. Here come da crew. It would be amazing if they won today.
  17. Yes, if he can stay healthy, he is injury prone, that is the only reason he hasn't been in there all the time.
  18. It's like my father always said to me, he said to me, "it's always something. If it isn't one thing--it's another! It's always something."
  19. To bad we have to here Vinny Rottino's voice, its worse with no picture. He is an excessive prim bootlicker.
  20. Matt Arnold is bringing Bartolo Colón out of retirement for next home opener.
  21. Ok so all we need more of is pitching, hitting and defense. Go Brewers.
  22. And Contreras is catching like he is on valium.
  23. Wow 93 in DC today and I thought 84 was hot.
  24. Especially since it was back when Jesus Agular played 1st base and Lorenzo Cain center field. Seems like the olden days.
