    Barring injury, I wouldn't expect much of anything to happen until at least around the All Star break. Don't forget Martinez was in AA last year so we need more than 12 games to look at him in AAA. We also have Jake Bauers on the team to think about and he is a lefty hitter just like Martinez. Rhys is a right handed hitter. Murphy likes that more than I do and so did Counsell.

    STL lost so were in 3rd all by ourselves and now only 1 1/2 games out of 1st place.

    Also, The Miami Marlins may trade ace pitcher Sandy Alcantara at the trade deadline, according to various sources and we need pitching in the worst way.

    Since Rhys is a Right handed batter and Jake is a Lefty just do what the Brewers have done for years with with pitching matchups. Jake for righty pitchers Hoskins for lefty's. I agree, at least make it fare for Jake. Ernesto will be next if neither one of them produce after all star break.

    No kidding, with a 3.21 ERA in Nashville and moved up the ladder fairly quickly before that. He may have the “It” Factor.

    Al LeBoeuf is the Brewers hitting coach and I have never, not one time ever heard his name mentioned. I'm against the good old boy club type of coaching that Murphy seems to favor.     The chronic pitcher injuries are destroying us and then picking up player for a spot start or two or a player who was injured last year on another team sure is not the answer. It implies to me that we are always resorting to all the lowest possible resources out there for our needs. Like mending a hole in your sock so you can get another month or two use out of it before you finally through it away.

    The worst team in MLB history, considering all eras, is the 1899 Cleveland Spiders, who finished with a record of 20-134, a .130 winning percentage. They had the most losses in a single season in MLB history. The 1899 Cleveland Spiders had a very tough season due to ownership issues.

    Just seen a stat on MLB base stealing since new rule implemented of only 2 pickoff attempts at 1st and steals are skyrocketing. If your interested.

    Just watched the Cubs/Dodgers game and one thing I can say for sure is, the Cubs sure look good compaird to the Brewers and I hate the Cubs. Pete Crow-Armstrong was a straight up animal tonight.

    Giving up 84 runs in 16 games dosent really help the cause either and thats our strong suit.

    We better put on our hitting shoes today facing Gallen and then Skubal tomorrow followed Jack Flaherty. Last night was just a nightmare.
