  1. I hope the Bucks will fare better tonight.
  2. Rizzo is 8 for 8 yesterday and today. Unbelievable.
  3. Probably over 1/2 the team speaks Spanish so that I don't think that is it. I think it has to do with the way he is struggling. Probably never struggled at baseball in his life before.
  4. Not sure if its just me but Chourio looks either exhausted or depressed.
  5. Maybe because he is well rested. Milwaukee Brewers activated DH Jake Bauers from the bereavement list.
  6. Brandon Belt signed a 1 year , $9,300,000 contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, including $9,300,000 guaranteed. He would be the 3rd highest player on the team. With back spasms and a knee injury and another first baseman. He is 35 year old DH now with a .250 average. That is probably why they won't. Lots of drawbacks. We will end up like the Mets.
  7. I wasn't sure where to post this but since the game hasn't started yet I will post it here. It is about Shohei Ohtani, I guess Shohei Ohtani is pretty good. On MLB Network this morning, 1 month into the season Shohei has 6 Dodger team records already. He has the hardest hit ball at 119 mph the MLB average is 107 Passed Hideki Matsui for a Japanese born player with most HR's at 176 home runs, He hit 6 home runs this week, a Dodger record. Hitting .421 the past week leading the MLB and .371 for the year a Dodger record. Highest OPS in MLB, over 150, (which is batting average plus extra base hits.) With counting walks a .560 on base percentage a Dodger and MLB record. and walked 24 times which is second in the MLB. WOW! They even showed Freddie Freeman in the dugout saying WOW, WOW after he launched a HR. Plus he has 4 stolen bases, not a record but he is fast also.
  8. A pitch right down the middle I would say is a mistake. How could it be anything else?
  9. Some of those other guys should be ready to pitch again tomorrow I would hope. Hopefully Ross can go 7 tomorrow, that would be great.
  10. Also a go shopping for an additional pitcher since Miley is done for the year.
  11. Just got in, what a great game. Ortiz came threw bigtime. Murphy was like a proud grandaddy today and I think the players really like and respect him a lot. We are getting production from different players every game, so all contributing to the cause. We just need to get Frelick and Chourio back on track but it will come.
  12. Joey Wiemer reminds me of Keston Hiura, He just can't make that jump from AAA and it has now transferred to making mistakes defensively. Actually Hiura's numbers were much better than Wiemer's in Nashville. At least Pat Murphy gives them a fare chance to prove themselves.
  13. My heart skipped a beat on that last out.
  14. Where's Devin Williams when you need him.
  15. I hope he pinch hits for Weimer this inning. I have no faith in him.
  16. Your right, watching strike 3 go by with men on base and 2 outs.
  17. Sophia Minnaert said she was in the bullpen earlier and she felt like she was at a Bucks game. They are all 6'5" to 6'8"
