  1. Returning to rotation Thursday Houser (elbow) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Thursday's game against the Marlins, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports. Impact Houser needed just a couple weeks of rest to recover from the elbow swelling that sent him to the IL on Aug. 28. The 30-year-old right-hander carries a 4.58 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 77:28 K:BB in 90.1 innings this season with the Brewers. 20 HOURS AGO•ROTOWIRE
  2. Home runs do make the game a lot mor interesting plus you don't have to get 3 hits in an inning to score a run.
  3. Megill with a 1.08 ERA over his las 7 outings should be able to pitch 1 or 2 innings. I know some people didn't like this choice but I have no problems with it. Then Probably Collen Rea would be my guess.
  4. I do have some concerns about Megill facing Arraez, but to be fair, I'd feel even less confident in Rea. Luis Arráez is a .350 hitter so he has been hitting everyone. At least he only has 7 homeruns but you can pitch around one hitter if there is a man in scoring position. Soler is no pushover either but he has been slumping as of late.
  5. The best hitters are usually the 1, 2, 3, 4 hitters so Megill will face them in the 1st and the Collen Rea will take over in the 2nd inning. That is my guess.
  6. That is exactly why Megill will face the tougher hitters at the top of the order.
  7. Yes Megill will start followed by Collen Rea is the way I understood it.
  8. In the 2023 season the Diamondbacks have an record of 4-2 (66.7%) against the Brewers. Something to think about.
  9. If Adamas can get hot now and for the playoffs that would be awesome and Council would look like a genius.
  10. Aaron Rodgers injury update: Jets QB suffers ankle injury during 'Monday Night Football' vs. Bills Not Broken.
  11. Wow, I didn't know that about Adamas, Well Jeter fired him up I guess. That's great for Adamas and there resting him now.
  12. Well Brewers 6 to 0 and Aaron Rodgers carted off the field. Ankle.
  13. Josh Donelson and Luke Voit are mirror images'. But I still do want the Brewers to win the Central.
  14. Your right. I see Monasterio moved to second base tonight in place of Turang. It looks like Counsell is grasping at straws for some reason??? He needs to relax and dance with who you brung you, barring injury or terrible play.
  15. The Brewers are hoping to find lightning in a bottle with Josh Donaldson, who has a strong track record from previous seasons and could perhaps get some better fortune going forward. Owen Miller sent down to Nashville. I feel bad foe Owen Miller.
  16. "Wouldn't you think it would be almost almost impossible to lose a 10 1/3 inning no hitter?
  17. It would be nice to do to the Miami Marlins what we did to the Texas Rangers. We also have a few players that played for the Marlins, including Craig Counsell. Also, Brian Anderson, Christian Yelich, That is all I can think of for now.
  18. Longest no hitter ever was 17 innings http://research.sabr.org/journals/17-inning-no-hitter#:~:text=It was no ordinary no,game in professional baseball history.&text=third.,first effort for the Colts.
  19. This will be my third post in about 2 weeks about Chafen needing to be sent down or DFA'd, I think his arm is shot.
  20. Just got to my computer and you guys are all right. The Yankees looked lifeless today. They are the Padres of the East coast along with the Mets. All those high payroll teams are just terrible this year.
  21. Brewers - Thyago Vieira #54 P B/T: R/R 6' 3"/265 Age: 30 He is a beast!!!
  22. BASEBALL BALK A pitcher makeing an illegal motion.
  23. Wild Card Series No. 3 Brewers vs. No. 6 Diamondbacks No. 4 Phillies vs. No. 5 Cubs
