    Just watched the Cubs/Dodgers game and one thing I can say for sure is, the Cubs sure look good compaird to the Brewers and I hate the Cubs. Pete Crow-Armstrong was a straight up animal tonight.

    Giving up 84 runs in 16 games dosent really help the cause either and thats our strong suit.

    One factor that went into tonight’s pitching decisions in the ninth: Trevor Megill’s knee has lately been bothersome enough that he had an MRI. It was clean.

    Since spring training he has given up 6 runs and 7 walks in 2 appearances totaling 9.1 innings and that does count. So nothing to earth shattering.

    Praying for the best tonight. As stated above: Two-time National League All-Star pitcher Brandon Woodruff is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with the Sounds on Saturday night. The right-hander missed all of 2024 after recovering from shoulder surgery.

    Just on MLB Network: Brice Turang 2025 adjustments. Brice Turang has adopted a noticeably narrower batting stance this season. His front foot is now back more than a foot compared to his 2024 season after a visit from Ryan Braun who also gifted Turang with a pair of his 2011-12 batting gloves. Which could account for his 94 mph exit velo this season compared to 87 mph last season.

    NY fans are as relentless as they come. Devin Williams will need two fulltime psychiatrists now instead of just one and should talk to Aaron Rodgers and get some magic mushrooms to see his full inner being.
