  1. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/cubs-forced-patient-potential-marlins-145223383.html
  2. Lets make it easy for Meyers first game back and put up a decisive win today. That way Murphy doesn't have to somehow spin it into a positive. Time for the offence to let loose and rout Roupp.
  3. He has no clue what to do up there anymore, he is overwhelmed so just swings at every pitch.
  4. No reason to even through him a strike anymore. He swings at every pitch.
  5. I think your right he did miss 14 games though. He played 148 games.
  6. Chourio is a sucker for the high pitch, for the low outside pitch?? Geeze!
  7. Why do players always play better the last year of there contract?
  8. Last year they sent him down for a week or two and came back hot for the rest of the season.
  9. Chourio same old, same old a quick K swinging at a ball.
  10. Young Joe Biden on the juice. LOL
  11. Maybe but ... I new guys in HS that were loosing there hair at 15-16 years old and weren't even athletes. Jose Conseco is what a steroid user looks like.
  12. If Jackson wants to take it to the next level as a hitter he needs to be less aggressive thinking he can hit everything. But that's easier said than done when you have less than 1/4 of a second to decide. Also he is 21 and the average age a player makes it to the bigs is 24 so he is way ahead of the curve.
  13. Brewers aren't the only team to get bad calls.
  14. Jake also for 8 runs this inning.
  15. You mean your not voting for him for the Announcer of the Year Award?
  16. Yelich swung at 2 balls that last at bat.
  17. And standing right on top of the plate.
  18. Good Yelach needed that, we need him bad.
  19. Joey Ortiz's primary positions in his MLB career have been third baseman (3B), shortstop (SS), and second baseman (2B). He has played all three positions, primarily at 3B, SS and 2B with the Baltimore Orioles and the Milwaukee Brewers.
  20. I also said not playing SS, because it is a high stress position. My quote exactly was: "SS has to be the most high demand, stressful position on the field and for a career utility man to take over the SS position may be weighing on his whole game. Stress in one area of a persons game definitely can spill over into other areas of his game." You talk as if playing 3rd is as stressful as SS. If you think it doesn't make a difference you never played the game.
