Personally I hope they are about to trade Overbayfor a right-fielder or a Pitcher, but thats wishful thinking... meanwhile I will enjoy this game to the fullest

Does anyone else think Santos has elevated himself to being our #2 pitcher now? I do..... Here's hoping that if we trade a pitcher, it isn't Santos

I can't complain about Clark's baserunning in this one, he was clearly safe both times. Bad calls by the ump.... Failing to get clutch hits with RISP and a costly error cost us this one The optimist in me will point out that the Brewers are a team that doesn't give up: down 4-0 and they battled back to almost win it

yeah but Magruder had a couple of good games and solid pinch hits in April... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif Yeah, it makes no sense to sit Helms in that situation. Alot of things Yost does makes no sense. At least he's sitting Hardy and batting Miller 8th, those are good adjustments... Think we'll see Fielder start at 1st for one game this series to give Lyle a day off and show what he can do?

besides all the other idiotic displays of amateur TV mentioned already, how 'bout the 9th inning, game is tight, and Sutton is talking about how his daughter has a birthday near Christmas and people try to give her one present instead of two.... we've got AA announcers doing an MLB game
  6. AJ Love
who would be the back-up SS if they send down Hardy? I do think Bill Hall's best position is SS
  7. AJ Love
I think I'll be listening to Uecker and Powell and watching the game with the TV volume turned down

Good game... we're on a winning streak, baby Looked like Turnbow got back in the zone as that inning went on Tommy Phelps is my favorite AAAA pitcher of all-time
  9. AJ Love
good to see the Brew Crew with a W Uecker calling Jenkins shot moments before he hit was great nice to see Sheets pitching well gotta really question Yost on putting in Phelps in that situation... it worked but wow what a gamble
  10. AJ Love
At this point, I'm convinced that every night Jenkins could potentially start is the night to try out Hall in the OF
  11. AJ Love
what a sad game. Ouch. Prince can rake though... they NEED to keep Prince in the Majors and deal Overbay
  12. AJ Love
Not a bad lineup... good to see Jenkins sitting again
  13. AJ Love
I get the feeling that our #5 starter might be better than our #3 and #4 starters

Primetime: I don't like how Yost screws with young player's heads... Fielder is not a player you platoon
  15. AJ Love
Fielder just missed hitting a HR last night, he hit that last pitch a country mile in the air I don't disagree with Helms starting, he should, but Overbay should be sitting
  16. AJ Love
Yost is a buffoon then. He needs to be fired... If you bring Prince up, you start him all 6 games... will Yost actually platoon Fielder when Fielder is a full-time major leaguer? Thats the last straw, I'm jumpin on the "fire Yost" bandwagon that said, I'm glad Jenkins is sitting for the record, I'd sit Overbay and play Helms at 1B and start Prince Fielder
  17. AJ Love
    LMAO Monty
  18. AJ Love
as per usual, I'm looking forward seeing Rickie Weeks play, the kid looks like a future superstar to me... and it'll be fun to watch Prince hit... no idea what to expect from Ohka
  19. AJ Love
wow Jenkins-Hardy-Moeller-Sheets was tough to watch hit today. Too many automatic outs I don't see how we can afford to keep Jenkins playing regularily...and hopefully this is the last year we see Moeller in a Brewers uniform. I like the guy, he's a good catcher, but he hits like a AA ball-player... ouch
  20. AJ Love
tough game, but man it was fun watching Rickie Weeks... this organization is on the upswing, I can feel it... hopefully Sheets pitches a stellar game tommorow
  21. AJ Love
great to see Weeks continue to hit well and great to see a quality start for Capellan. I'm likin' it
  22. AJ Love
Victor!!!!!!! nice work Kudos to Yost for mixing up the lineup, worked well
  23. AJ Love
great to see Yost changing up the lineup.... although I'd like to see Spivey hitting 7th because I don't like the automatic out scenario of Cirillo-Hardy-Pitcher (even though Hardy is bound to start raking soon) I hope they really tee off on Reuters... the 9th inning last night gave em a little momentum to take to San Fran
  24. AJ Love
teams can be dangerous when everyone expects them to lose. If Obermueller starts and the Crew wins, that could be a great momentum starter
  25. AJ Love
well I for one will stick with the Brewers. I'm not gonna bail on em now...but wow what a rough loss. Phelps clearly needs more time in AAA one huge unknown factor with the Crew is the attitude of the new owner. For all we know Yost could be fired by the all-star break, for all we know Yost could still be our manager in 2009
