    if whoever takes the hill this inning does their job i feel really good about billy and prince coming up in the bottom half... this win would be huge momentum going into the weekend against the slumping cardinals...

    even though i know dougie will settle, he won't be able to last past 5 at this pace... 44 pitches after 2 is not encouraging... better cross our fingers the good bullpen shows up today... wait - do we have one? crap.

    regardless of the weird call, great win. the resilience (sp?) (i'm trying not to say the "b" word here) of this team is awesome. and like i said before, imagine if we get our top pitcher back, and our bullpen actually starts to pitch like a bullpen...? these guys refuse to go under .500 right now, and that is a huge difference from the last 24 years... i love it

    and the fact that our "5th" starter "kept us in it" is still amazing... sheets? ohka? helling? and we are going to win by 1 again tonight to be 3 games over 500? amazing!

    i guess where i am coming from is that i feel spoiled by Uke and Powell... i always imagine (though it's probably not right to) them calling the "run" if we have one... i guess that's why we have a mute button?

    can i ask you guys a question? as much as Darron "means well" (that's like saying a girl has a "nice personality" or is "big boned") could you actually stand him and Schroe commentating if and when we ever make a run? i'm not sure i could. just curious. and i hope i didn't offend anyone. sorry if i did.
