    Christian Yelich is a drag on this lineup. Hitting a dinger every 8 to 12 games is not going to cut it and something needs to be done. He has become an automatic out.

    I’m already getting worried about Pratt’s long term Yelich type contract.

    I see a correlation between Murph’s back/hip issues and the Brewer’s offensive nosedive. It seems they are missing his day to day influence and his ability to keep the team loose. Murph is in pain and has deferred much of the managing to Chis Hook and Jason Lane. Unfortunately, it shows.

    I don’t know if it’s a related but once Murph got hobbled up and started sitting all game, the Brewer’s bats have gone ice cold.

    Hamilton is worthless with a bat in his hand. He wouldn’t make it on most teams’s Triple A club. What are we doing?

    This easily could have been a 3-game sweep of the Brewers.

    Milwaukee and Chicago went from a 1st place battle to a last place battle in a week’s time.

    Let’s Go! Greg Jones, with a career batting average of .143 is coming to ignite this lineup.

    It’s clear this lineup is filled a pre-lockout players. They are simply inexpensive place holders that will help them keep costs down leading up to December. When baseball returns in 2029-2030, most will be long gone and likely out of baseball completely.

    Jackson Chourio hit himself in the back of his leg on his backswing. If you slow it down, you can see the end of the bat hit his leg and he immediately tries rubbing it out. I don’t think it’s related to his hamstring injury. Not that it really matters this season.

    Another TBD for game 3. Are we ever going to see Quintana start in this series? I just don’t understand the disappearing act.

    Yelich should not play another game in this series.

    It’s been a good run but I’m afraid the crew have run out of steam. It’s a season of attrition and only a few teams can withstand a long run. I’m afraid the Brewers aren’t going to be one of them.

    I was expecting an absolute raucous game tonight with crazy high energy and aggressive confidence. Instead, we got the whimpering weenies. I’m very worried.
