  1. Woodruff’s interview didn’t make me feel good about his chances for a return. He said it isn’t career ending but…he stopped short of saying the next part.
  2. 1 run in the last 18 innings is not going to cut it.
  3. Despite good crowds, the Brewers seem to lack spark at home. When they’re away, they appear more loose and confident. I don’t get it.
  4. If you had told me the Brewers would go 9–10 during their ‘19 games in 18 days’ stretch, I would’ve assumed they’d lost the division lead h
  5. Gasser should take Misiorowski’s spot on the rotation and Misiorowski should be our closer. Uribe can go back to being the 8th inning set up guy.
  6. Well done article. There were short periods of time in seasons when Hoffman, Axford, Hader and Williams were automatic holds but they were short-lived. No matter who the closer is, I never feel comfortable going into the 9th with a one run lead.
  7. Brewers are 3-6 in last 9, Cubs are about to be 7-2. I sense a big switch in momentum.
  8. Dumbest pinch hit decision in history.
  9. Agreed, he’s not the same guy he was before going on the bereavement list. There’s been no word on what happened and it’s none of my business but he probably should have taken a few more days off.
  10. Overall, this is great news. I was very worried it was going to be a tear. However, it might be best to put him on the IL to save Sal from himself. He doesn’t know how to play any way but at full-speed. Great news though!
  11. The Cubs are champing at the bit to knock Misiorowski off the pedestal he’s been placed on since Thursday’s start. We can expect a much different approach at the plate than the Cards gave him. Although unlikely, I really hope our offense can give him some early run support so he doesn’t think the world is resting on his shoulders.
  12. The Brewers have to pay Yelich through 2042…same production today that they’ll get 17 years from now.
  13. Alexander blows every game while exuding so much confidence. He’s a 6.0 ERA pitcher who walks around the mound like a 1.02 ERA pitcher.
  14. Last year, the Brewers never lost 4 in a row. This year, the Brewers never win 4 in a row.
