Never thought about wind regression before, but he was due after some weird stuff the last few games. -
Backspin and the weird ass win patter in this armpit of a stadium does sometimes.

So after Imanaga got through the 1st on 8 pitches and Sproat opened the game with back to back walks we all had Sproat outlasting Imanaga, right? 🤣

And for every stunner like that there are 3 or 4 plays that he make look routine when they're actually pretty tough. He's had a couple of those already.

Perfect follow up from Sproat (and Ortiz!) after that big offensive inning.

I suspect they just offered him the chance to go to Milwaukee to get a look at him and let him be in the clubhouse since his rehab start was in Appleton anyway.

I always enjoy the lengthy explanations as to why projection systems do a bad job with the Brewers that in the end seem to boil down to "if we change our system to get the Brewers right it would get like 10 other teams wrong, so..." I will give them credit for transparency and not just taking whatever the projections are for the Brewers and adding 3 wins with some nebulous multiplier than would be enough to fool people like me if not the advanced stat guys who are way smarter than I am.
