  1. Replay didn't really show Frelick so I'm not sure.
  2. I'd be interested to know if that was called from the dugout. Frelick waited to see if the ball would get by the pitcher so neither the suicide or safety squeeze were on.
  3. Well not great but that could have been a lot worse.
  4. If he can locate his pitches he'll be useful imo. They're not all going to be Mis. Big problem right now is that he isn't putting his pitches where he wants them.
  5. I didn't/don't really have a problem with keeping Yelich around to see if he responded. I just would prefer that they not do it again if the same thing happens again when they're going into series with the Cubs and Dodgers.
  6. And honestly if he's not going to go out on a rehab assignment I'd rather find out today if he might be healthy enough to play and at least have the chance of not playing a series against the Cubs shorthanded. I just hope he's healthy, and if not, that they put him on the IL instead of hoping he gets better in 72 hours again.
  7. Hard to say if that's how the Brewers see it. A year ago I wouldn't have bet on Ortiz getting meaningful playoff at bats and that's exactly what happened. I'll believe they'll make a move to upgrade the lineup when it happens at this point.
  8. Way back in the day multiple inning saves were Rollie Fingers' specialty, including in his short time in Milwaukee. Most of them were 2 or 3 innings though. He went 4 innings against the Yankees in 1982, but got a win not a save. He went 4 innings a few times in 1981 too for the Brewers, but didn't record a 4 inning save (he took the loss in one and won the other).
  9. Wow. That pitch... how did he get a swing on that pitch?
  10. The breaks that Chourio get in LF and his body language never really fill me with confidence but that was a pretty tough catch. Also I thought that Patrick might have missed 1st on the 3rd out.
  11. Got 'em! Still hate the Twins from the old AL days.
  12. I like giving Uribe the 8th with the top of the lineup up.
  13. Ejections are a little jarring now because they happen pretty rarely these days
  14. He needs to relax. I get the theory behind hitting him leadoff but he looks like he's trying to win the MVP every at bat. Moving him down in the order is where I'd start
  15. 15 runs, a Crow No Hitter, and an opposite field homer for Frelick.
