  1. He's a career .306 hitter against RHP so I'm not sure it's fair to say he was playing over his head last year. This year there's no doubt he's looked horrendous at the plate. Lots of 3-pitch strikeouts and some boneheaded defense as well. I wouldn't mind trying to give him just a few days off in a row with Aoki getting a few starts, but I'm by no means ready to give up on Morgan just yet.
  2. A couple of demoralizing games to start this series. Hopefully we can get one tomorrow
  3. Right now they have it scored as a single + a throwing error which got the runner to second. I don't think that is how it should be ruled but that error did not cost them an out the way it is scored now, so the runs are earned. Ah thanks. Hopefully that's switched. He was pretty clearly out if Gamel is on the bag
  4. With that E-6, how are all 8 of those runs earned? Brian reporting it that way and so is Gameday...
  5. What a joke of an inning. This is going to be the only way the Cubs win this year - when all of their poorly hit balls drop in for hits
  6. So I have ripped the DVD and converted it to an .mpg but it's fairly high quality and came out to about 3 GB in size. I uploaded it as a torrent but it's my first time trying out uploading torrents so we'll see how it goes. I've attached the .tor file and you're free to leech it from me as long as I can seed. Mods let me know if this isn't allowed here (it's not like the Brewers are selling the DVD...) I'll work on making some smaller file sizes and uploading them to easier file sharing sites
  7. Gamel seems seriously competent at first defensively so far. Let's hope it continues when focus may start to waver in the middle of the season
  8. Always nice to pay off the hustle by Gamel and poor defensive decision by Starlin
  9. Sprint is nearly useless as far as internet goes once inside the stadium; at least for heavily attended games. You can send texts and receive calls just fine, but 3G is extremely slow or doesn't work altogether.
  10. I'll be going to the game and can get one. I'll try to get multiples but if not I can rip the DVD and upload it to some file sharing site I'm sure
  11. My two different team names are: (both stolen from other people; I'm not creative) Mat Gameltoe Nyjers in Paris
  12. I haven't received my 20-game pack in the mail yet but I just logged in to My Brewers Tickets and was very disappointed to see I have section 436 obstructed view seats for Opening Day. I guess it comes with the demand, but still seems sort of crappy that my 6-year old account would get obstructed seats
  13. Awesome presser, no doubt. Absolutely convincing and he handled the questions well. Saw a few #GordonBombay hashtags on twitter alluding to his hair that made me chuckle
  14. Focus on this : to the [/i]extent necessary to respond to any inaccurate or misleading claims by that Player [/i]that could undermine the integrity and/or credibility of the Program.[/i] MLB can go public with stuff if they want to respond to the Player saying mean things about the drug program. The Player can also respond if the Player is saying mean things about the drug program. So are you implying that if Braun were lying with his comments, MLB would have come out in defense of their test findings, and would have also defended their drug program by now? If he had been holding press conferences and interviews and such explaining his case, yes. But his round-about denials and vague explanations through other people is his way of circumventing this rule. Correct me if I'm wrong?
  15. It's funny you guys mention some of these tactics, I've worked in the Walgreens photo department for the first four years of my college career during the summers. Usually a waiver of copyright form needs to be filled out, though if you were real desperate you could just say you're the photographer and sign the sheet. The people at Walgreens aren't going to question your honesty and those forms are just held in a huge folder - it's not like they go anywhere. The problem is I just need this in higher resolution really. Stretching these sizes to a poster would look miserable. I guess I'll just start sending out a bunch of emails and see what I can find out. Tristar, the photo you posted is actually different than mine. I really like both of 'em, but I like my original a little better. The ridiculous poses caught of Yovani and CC, combined with the raw emotion of Prince, McGehee, Yuni B, and even Krod in the back corner make for a great picture of my favorite game I've attended in my lifetime.
  16. I figured this was the forum to ask this as I'm sure there are other collectors out there who've had a photo printed before from services like AP. I'm looking to get This photo made into a poster or lithograph type print, but have absolutely no idea how to go about doing it. It looks like AP allows one to buy certain prints but sports pictures don't seem to generally be included. Is there any way to get this thing printed? Anyone have a higher resolution copy of this that's not readily available on the internet? Thanks for any help
  17. Wow, Terrace Reserved went up from $10 to $12, a full 20% increase. Hopefully we can use this extra anticipated revenue to sign a few free agents this offseason.
  18. I remember the team store sale as well. I distinctly remember getting a couple $5 clubhouse tee's and $1 Wild Card keychains. Let us know what you find out.
  19. Just an FYI - It appears there is an "immediate refund list" that you can be put on. As a college student with little spending, I was really worried about having to pay my ~$6K only to have a negative balance the next month once it gets refunded. My rep said that on the "immediate refund list" I would receive my refund in up to 10 days.
  20. Yes, they are seats. They're simply the last couple sections of terrace reserved down the left field line. They have a very interesting viewing angle that isn't always the best obviously; but it's sort of a neat birds-eye view
  21. In the event that the game(s) you select are not played, you will receive an automatic refund including the per ticket convenience fees. Per order processing/shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. The actual tickets will have no cash value AND SHOULD NOT BE RETURNED. Refunds will be processed and completed within 10 business days of the last Postseason game played. Thanks, so it looks like just the $2.00 "Print-at-home" fee is not refunded. Good to know
  22. Similar question as above, but does anyone know if they refund all the processing fees in addition to the ticket price?
  23. While I agree with you (I own the Evo 3D), and I strongly believe that the Samsung Galaxy SII is far superior to the iPhone 4S as well, there's something to be said about the user-interface of iOS and just how easy it is for absolutely any user to be able to master pretty quickly.
