That made me laugh out loud; not exactly sure why... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif Another solid victory under the belt. Can't wait to see what Suppan can do tomorrow. I'm loving the functional turnbow 8th into the Coco 9th

    Okay cool; thanks a lot.

So I'm thinking sort of far ahead here, but do you think Vargas will be skipped in the rotatio with the day off? Would be nice to see a Bush Sheets Cappy rotation for the Cubs series. Here's to a win tonite!

billyhallfan, I'm gonna have to disagree with ya on this one. We were sitting in section 420 and I have to say that guy was hilarious. I don't think he was blocking the game that much from anyone, he just wanted to start the wave http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif Those are the types of moments that set aside opening day from the rest of the season haha

I hate comments like that. So you think he just wasn't trying that much last year as he was losing his starting spot? A contract year is what'll really start to motivate him? Geoff is one of the most passionate players on the team, I highly doubt this'll be a breakout season just because of that reason

    there we go jenks.

Once Miller or Rivera gets a hit and maybe an RBI; sheets will forget all about moeller

So that was wise that did the punchout during the home run? I saw that when it happened and was telling my friends but they had no idea what I was talking about...

man, this ump is soooo inconsistent...

    * We can never get the pitcher out * Always get owned by rookie pitchers

No. He's hitting .500 in Nashville. CALL HIM UP! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

How far was it? anyone know?

I had a good feeling about that at bat. It looked (on gameday) like an at-bat jenks would have when he's feeling it. Lots of foul offs, and laying off with 2 strikes occasionally. Let's hope this is his turnaround! 2-0!

    I love cirillo

Anyone else here think the closer role is severely overrated. You can have a flawless 30/30 saves; yet have a 18.00 ERA. How hard is it to have a reliever come in for one inning, where we have a lead; and hold it? That's the only reason I was dissapointed when we signed turnbow so long. I love Turnbow; but I do not believe he's worth the money. I have to agree with Russ here; although the stats say wonders; you watch him last year, and he wasn't as good as his stats. He got countless double plays and lucky plays defensively to get out of jams. Now one can say he induced all that; but he definitely was not as dominant as the stats say. GO CAPPY TOMORROW

If Corey Hart doesn't start tomorrow at first I will be dissapointed. Or I guess I'll be okay if Cirillo starts there. But honestly; Prince looks terrible at the plate right now. I have 0 faith in him when the count has 2 strikes in it.

There's "emotion" and than there is "over the top." I don't think Z fits under "emotion"
  18. Tailgat0r76
DONT WORRY GUYS! Billy knows how to play baseball. He knows he'll have another chance for a walkoff. You think he didn't do that GIDP on purpose?
  19. Tailgat0r76
"Hiiiiii Jamie" I feel an offensive onslaught coming on tonight with Jenkins leading the way. Hope I'm right...
  20. Tailgat0r76
Let's show Z a nice early hitting performance, and lots of earned runs that he has to think about for the next week and a half. Huge game today if we win. Sure would be nice clinching the split of the series in the second game.

I really like the idea that we have an 84% chance of going into the ASB .500! Cappy; we need you to go deep into tonights game. None of this 4 inning jazz again.
  22. Tailgat0r76
Okay, i'm not reading 33 pages; what is the cheese sandwich references from? WHAT A GAME! I was in a movie theatre checking my phone every other second! Got to catch the radio broadcast for the win though. WOW!
  23. Tailgat0r76
what was the play by Gabe like?
  24. Tailgat0r76
honestly, I would have been content with 1 out of 3. I figured we stood no chance against Harang and Arroyo again.
  25. Tailgat0r76
How nice would it be to finally get over the .500 hump during the cubs series. Sure would be fitting...
