Houser wasn’t good last year but the year before he had an XFIP of 3.60 This year it’s 3.71 He’s been mostly fine as a starter.

That error is looming large right now. 2-1 deficits much different then 4-1.

I don't buy this. Tomorrow's lineup is totally rigid and can't be altered based on who might be hot today, who might not be feeling great tomorrow, etc? Not feeling great sure……one replacement level player has a good day…. doubt they are going to give that much weight at all.

CC has said they plan out the lineups in advance…..just because Nottingham had a good day doesn’t really change who he is as a player. I’m sure he and Maile will share time until Pina gets back.
