  1. Plenty of soft tossers in the pen, but as long as they get batters out that's fine with me. Most of our primary guys are not soft towers......Suter yes......Yardley is in the mix but is a 2nd tier guy along with Claudio. Hader, Williams,Phelps, Freddie all can hit 95 or above Obviously losing Burnes from the pen takes away another flame thrower but who knows maybe they will give Rasmussen a chance to earn some innings. Corey isn’t back to form yet obviously so that doesn’t help......his velocity has ticked up a bit but his curve and command are not good right now...... My point obviously was that having strike out pitchers in the pen is very refreshing after years of not having many.
  2. Remember the days when the brewers had a bunch of soft tossers who rarely stuck people out? Yeah those days are gone.....https://www.teamrankings.com/mlb/stat/strikeouts-per-9
  3. Lindblom’s best inning as a brewer. Finally seeing so.e if that great command we were told about.
  4. Urias with great AB.....That Arcia had a run scoring double there for a second.....damn
  5. The Brent Suter experience everyone.......87 mph fastballs up.in the zone right by major league hitters.....
  6. His on base percentage the last 3 years are .353, 366 and 373 Cains career obp is 348
  7. I think that putting any weight on a hitter's BA after 14 games and 38 AB's is somewhat pointless... Yep....we see managers do this all the time......trying to take a little pressure off a guy to get him going.....he did it a few games ago with Garcia. It may not work but they traded for Navarez because he had a track record as a big league hitter......they are going to do whatever it takes to try and jump start him....
  8. Outside of the fact that Braun has said he is open to playing anywhere but 3rd its a great idea...... Brewers need to find a 3rd baseman........a year ago I’m sure they were thought they had it covered with Shaw .......then he forgot how to hit. Lack of position player development has been baffling. First, 3rd, short, catcher really stand out.
