Let's hope this is the low point TH tweet This is first time Cubs have won four in a row despite scoring three or less runs since at least 1908. Was the fewest runs they allowed in four game series June 1919 against Pittsburgh (also two runs). We will stop there because the historical badness just goes on and on.

Drake can't get a lefty out and Arcia falls asleep.......great We lose 3 straight games with very good to excellent starting pitching.....no hitting....questionable defense......never had a lead to even pitch Hader in 3 games.

No way that can be an error.... only guy who was near it was Arcia and he had to,run forever to try and make an over the shoulder catch.

So we have given up 5 runs.... 1 unearned and 1 today that wasn't the pitchers fault....in 3 games... and we are about to drop to 0-3 in this series unless we rally. So much for the pitching being the weakness on this team.

I know he made an error today but the reason Sogard plays short when Arcia doesnt play is because Villar is a horrible defensive SS. CC isn't stupid....the staff doesn't want Villar to,play short if they can avoid it. It's been a tough start defensively for our infield but they had righted the ship pretty well before the error cost them today. Sogard biggest issue is he isn't hitting at all......even good utility guys need to hit a little and right now both of ours suck at the plate. It's a long season though.....CC and Stearns will give them time.
