From TH Counsell said making bullpen changes is an option but added “We’re limited there.” Said the guys he has must figure it out.

CC " we have some concerns in our bullpen" Said changes were possible but they were limited in what they could do .....the only way they are going to get better us to pitch... I'm paraphrasing but that was the gist.. ....didn't sound like he had any answers.....said Torres was being used in that situation because he has done the job in the past and somebody has to pitch. Obviously frustrated but doesn't sound like anyone should expect wholesale changes from what I heard.

Because he had a good season last year and teams tend to give veterans who have produced for them a little longer leash He has lots of company in our bullpen with guys who aren't pitching very well.

His velocity has been up all year. Apparently bulked up with weight training in the off season and added 10 or 15 lbs of muscle.
