Stolen base…..throwing error( or Swanson just whiffed on the throw not sure) allowing run to score and Witt to third ….Witt reached on an infield single that was a grounder right back to the mound. It was fun to watch

Going into the 2nd half I would have gladly taken a 3-3 road trip through LA and Seattle……..now that’s the worst case scenario………

He may or may not comeback……but unless people think Murphy is just making stuff up about Bauers having an MRI it seems obvious that he is hurt now. What happens when he is healthy again is a different issue…….he is in his last season and they may upgrade at the deadline or they may not. They certainly didn’t upgrade by bringing up Black……other than as a pinch runner.

He’s not going to play enough to do anything for his trade value. Murphy said Bauers had an MRI and got pretty specific with what they were looking at and what they found. Conspiracy theories are usually bad takes……..but some people still love them.

I think it’s more likely that he has some sort of left shoulder soreness which has probably impacted his play. Every time a struggling player goes on the dl doesn’t mean something nefarious is going on.

Where would this team be without the emergence of Collins? Really happy for Joey……..let’s hope the new batting stance has staying power! His defense continues to add value.

You really have to hand it to Mark…….when he got the sense that Stearns might eventually move on……he not only retains Arnold but makes him essentially the GM in waiting…….promising to promote him if/when Stearns left. -

Woody strikes me as the least likely person to fabricate a story about how many offers he had. There is a reason Mark A calls him one of his favorite people and why he is beloved in the brewers clubhouse and organization. ps If you asked Mark or Matt I find it impossible to believe either one would say Woody owed the Brewers anything.
