We could have traded him for a low rated prospect ( who likely would never see the majors) and thrown in even more money. i get the sense people would have been happier if we would have just released him. He had no value and we got a former top.prospect who has been mostly a bust …….if they find something that they can fix great……if not he’s gone. I’m not sure what people expected……..but again the worse trades are viewed here the better they usually turn out. im not expecting anything but since we gave up nothing I certainly am not going to whine about the return. -

It wouldn’t be a brewers trade if people didn’t whine about it……lol Civale had little value and Brewers got a guy with options that they can try and fix……if they do great…….if not he gets non tendered. -
