I started lost a few months ago and finished it today. Wish I would have caught the show during its prime on tv (for some reason I always though of Lost as some stupid reality show called "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here" that also aired on ABC). -
Not that surprising. The Cubs record this year only improved slightly. Cubs are still very much a construction project.

I'm now confused. I don't have the letter in front of me but I originally received one in February saying the gov't was beginning the foreclosure process. 6 months later and I get the follow up letter that I mentioned above. That 6 month period was not the redemption period?

Sorry to hear about this but you have some time. Do you know where in the process the foreclosure is in? In Wisconsin the law states you can stay in the property until the confirmation order is signed. I am not sure since it is the county that is foreclosing on the property if this applies or not. This usually takes about 6 months from when the process begins until the confirmation order is signed by a judge. Maybe some of the lawyers here can help you out with this as I could only find this doing a quick search on google. There is a court case on the Oct 24th where the court will give the county the judgement according to the letter. The 24th is the final day to fulfill the payment demands to keep the property from being foreclosed.

Thanks but I don't think that applies to my situation. There is no landlord involved. It's just a house owned by my (deceased) father.

So I'm in the unfortunate position of living in a house that is being foreclosed by Milwaukee County for delinquent property taxes. The lady I spoke with at the treasurer's office didnt know, but I'm hoping someone else does, how long from when the county acquires ownership is one able to still legally live on the property?

I would recommend going up the John Hancock tower over the Willis tower. They have a porch area where you can sort of go outside on top of the building. I would check out Wrigley Field (its a dump but it's a historic dump), millennium park, the magnificent mile on Michigan ave.

I use Windows 8 and it's fine, plus Windows 8.1 will fix many of the issues people have (such as letting people boot to the desktop). It admittedly takes some time to learn how to use it though. It's also alot faster. Metro is just a full screen start menu really.

+1 with the recommendation of getting an Air. I have last year's model and absolutely love it. It's so light that sometimes I have to check if I'm carrying it. It's also really fast with the SSD. Just make sure you upgrade the ram to 8GB since you can't do it later on. Also I wouldnt get a MacBook Pro. Apple hasn't updated them this year and they probably will sometime this year. You're essentially buying last year's model. They come with faster processors but the traditional hard drive kind of negates that unless you're doing editing work.

Today was possibly the worst experience I've ever had at the festival. Apparently, the park was full (they stopped selling tickets/letting people in) as Imagine Dragons was about to start and there were riots/fights outside the park.
