  1. We've gotten so lucky playing injured teams. It really does kinda feel like the Eastern Conference Title is going to be handed to us (granted Brooklyn was a hell of a fight).
  2. That was a fun game. It’s nice to have a stress free game for once.
  3. I think I missed something here. What did they say? Link to the tweet that has the video of ESPN trashing Milwaukee.
  4. Either way, they had to/have to win one in Jersey. Durant isn't coming out and scoring 50 again in game 7 (if it gets there) I mean, he might, but Jeff Green isn't going to shoot 7 of 8 from three again. The problem there is Harden is only going to get better as he continues to recover. He probably won’t go scoreless in the first half again. This was the Bucks best chance to win one on the road.
  5. Update to my earlier post. Going to try to make this without cursing...I’ve only felt worse one time in my life after getting the second shot. Fever is hovering at 101 degrees. The headache reminds me of the awful migraines I used to have as a child. Throbbing pain in the front of my head along the crown. Arm still hurts a bit but that’s the least of my pain. Lost all my appetite, trying to drink lots of water. Still got chills. Little sensitive to light and sound. If this is what actual COVID feels like, only longer...yeesh, screw this virus.
  6. Got my second Pfizer shot yesterday at the Wisconsin Center. Super smooth process. Anyway coming at this from a 32 YO male that is slightly overweight... The second dose definitely hit me a little hard. The typical arm pain had onset within a few hours, gradually getting worse. Had some restless sleep and sense of chills. Running a fever around 100 degrees. Also have a headache. I ended up using a sick day at work since I have driving job and a few places I visit do a temperature check, and they’d probably refuse me, thinking I have COVID. Hopefully these vaccines can get reformulated eventually to cause less of an immune system response.
  7. I delivered a pallet to Miller Park today. Someone didn’t check their spelling on this sign. https://imgur.com/download/vC6EbNv/

    Pizza

Has anyone had the DiGiorno Croissant crust pizza? How is it?
  9. Didnt Wade Phillips announce he’s ready to be back in the NFL? Can we get him?
  10. So, go Chiefs/Bills? I really don’t want to see Brady get number 7.

    Pizza

On the frozen pizza side, I’m a big fan of Bellatora. The sauce tends to be a little zesty, which is something I like. My go to cheap frozen pizza is Jacks, but they have some serious quality issues. I have to examine the pizza in grocery stores to see if it’ll be a good one or not. In terms of Pizza restaurants, I’m still sad Fratellis in West Allis closed. They made a great pizza. Also a big fan of Classic Slice in Bay View, and Papa Luigis in Cudahy.
  12. Good thing the next season starts in December. The quicker we can forget about this one the better.
  13. Bucks were up 91-80 with 9:41 to go. Proceeded to get outscored 35-9. Coach Bud is not a good playoff coach.
  14. I was riding my bike near Miller Park yesterday and saw a few folks tailgating in one of the empty lots.
  15. In terms of corporate names there's a lot worse than American Family Field. IMO the best corporate name for a ballpark is Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. I never realized Great American is an insurance company.
  16. Screw the Super Bowl MVP, my car's battery is the real MVP. After sitting for a month, it somehow started (barely) last night. Of course this morning I woke up to a flat tire.
  17. Looks like the snow totals got upgraded for this next storm this weekend. 8-12 inches for most of the milwaukee area, 6-8 the farther south and north west you go.
  18. I have my CDL (Commercial Drivers License) test in 1 1/2 weeks. Can't this snow wait a few weeks?
  19. Can't really postpone this one for another day.
  20. Prince Fielder is out for the year due to injury. Really feels like the Brewers got his best years.
  21. The Milwaukee area hasn't really had severe weather yet this spring/summer. I think there was a tornado watch in the northern counties a week ago but otherwise no big storms.
  22. This is the first game I'll be going to since at least like 2011. Hopefully my presence avoids the sweep.
  23. A recent report still has the tax ending around 2018-2020. It says on average the typical resident pays $10-12 a year for the tax. So over the course of 19 years, a person will have only paid $228 in extra taxes. Nothing big. Miller Park will have to stick around for awhile. Between Miller Park and the new bucks arena, no one is going to want to help pay for Miller Park 2 in 20 years. When Miller Park really starts showing its age, I think the Brewers will have to do a significant remodel (ala Wrigley, Yankee Stadium II, etc) I don't have many complaints besides the lack of air conditioning, some poor sightlines, and the massive walls supporting the roof in the outfield.
  24. Yeah most people have an internet connection already, so I wouldn't count that. Also, you don't need a big fancy HD antenna. I have a cheap $5 antenna that gets me all the locals just fine. I hide it behind my TV. I agree that sports is the only real reason to have cable these days. Sure, there is MLB.tv but then you have to use a proxy/VPN to get around the blackouts. For football, most of the games are broadcast on locals unless you're an out of market fan.
