    Dang! great day! Love a beautiful fall day on the course, but it can be bittersweet. My 12 and 14 year old nephews are pretty athletic and they're rapidly developing the ability to beat me so for the first time in my adult life i'm actively trying to become a better player. 😆 been shopping putting mats for like a month.. figure I can maybe best them there. the 14 year old lefty is hitting the Titleist tsr2 I got him for his birthday for about a 260 yard average 😬 I don't mind talking trash and playing mind games.

    I was at the Fourth of July 2022 game with the Victor Caratini walk-off. Was on 1st base side 2nd level just above the fight in the right field bleachers. I hope nothing ridiculous like that happens. Dude, there's kids here, elderly, railings people can be pushed over and fall 20 feet onto concrete. I'm nervous as hell and incredibly pumped, but it's a game of entertainment at the end of the day

    I'd rather get some fall golfing in with the beautiful weather this weekend. The anticipation of the game building all day. Get a good buzz going, stave off the nerves......maybe tee off into the group ahead of us if anyone has cubs gear on.

    Years ago, I was walking to the top of Clingman's Dome in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A mildly strenuous half hour hike for the average person, but kind of hard because you could notice less oxygen at almost 7000 feet. There were sow black bears with cubs all over the place along the sidewalk. Passed a 300lb + gentleman in what were clearly brand new $30 work boots from walmart......laces untied. We passed him and were commenting on the two bears 30 feet from us. In the funniest southern accent i've ever heard he hollers to us, "Ain't gotta be faster 'dan 'da bear, just gotta be faster 'dan 'da oder guy!" I laughed to the top of the overlook. My wife and I still quote this to each other in silly circumstances. I want to meet the guy he was faster 'dan.

    what a disgusting organization. tony la Russia, wainwright, and Molina all deserve to rot in h*ll someday there will be an insane 30 for 30 where some horrible stuff happened and was ignored by this classy team.

    matt is a mental midget I don't enjoy seeing my team's coach on camera looking like he's going to pass out because he's so overwhelmed/hopefully embarrassed, especially after being on the job for 7 years we will never win a Superbowl with him

    good post. I admit to posting with too much reactionary emotion. lol. matt's clearly not stupid. but being head honcho and calling plays does seem to be above his ability. nothing wrong with that. it just needs to be addressed.......that's the awkward part here

    mlf for whatever reason has the talent to be a good play caller......sometimes I genuinely think he might be stupid though.

    maybe i'm misremembering, but I feel like that offense sucked the entire year. this O was thrilling to watch for like 3 months. have to have faith they can find it again. the tools are still there

    here's how i'm coping...... the offense from July will return and carry us from here on out. who cares who's pitching when you're up 8 runs in the 5th inning every game?

    grant bilse?....... lol I prefer the 10-12-68 version, but there's so few captured on tape they are all treasures. that pic is definitely not from '68. 1970 i'd guess. ok the end of this one is better, but not as intense during the verses as the October versions

    we had a lot of very average pitchers playing well this summer. no dawgs. just mentally weak guys with some physical talent

    yup. unless the offense gets insanely hot again, this team isn't doing anything in October. which sucks and is weird considering how elite the pitching has been at points this year
