    Bandwagon. I would be more impressed if you were talking high of them in April or May…. or really any time before the streak. Maybe you were, I don’t know.

    I don’t feel comfortable about Black’s defense yet, especially with the switch from 2B to 3B. I don’t know why they switched him, but I can’t believe it was because he was so great at 2B. I hope that they give him a shot to play 1B, as well. And why Black is listed at 5’10” is super confusing. Every athlete right down to grade school will be listed at how tall they actually are or a couple inches taller, not 4 inches shorter. Never seen this before…

    Contreras is at 17% for throwing out runners… not that it is his fault all the time.

    If he cannot play an infield position, Black is a prime candidate for a trade. Our OF is stacked for years to come.

    And Adames is MUCH worse this year than last. To the topic, he is STILL hitting #2 or even #3! But just maybe we call up Hiura? Ha! DH OPS .561…..five sixty one!

    Bring Hiura up to DH regularly. Agree with Frelick and Wiemer too. Can always bring Wiemer up later.

    Hiura hits .866 against RHP and it’s all about him striking out too much or how he cannot play defense. Just put him at DH and hit him low in lineup. Fairly sure he can strike out 50% of the time and hit 200 points better than our current DH OPS numbers .561… I fully expect him and Frelick to hit in the middle of the lineup come August and September. Are they so great? No. Just a low bar in our organization. And, of course again, I’d like to again point out Hiura, his warts and all, had a better OPS than Adames, our #2 or #3 hitter,last year. And Hiura has a .331 avg, 12 HR in 112 AB, 1.074 OPS this year in AAA. Just let this guy play DH everyday low in order for a month and give this guy some confidence. Jerked around constantly by organization.

    12%= Odds of Cards Playoff birth in 2023 on June 19 1.7%= Odds of Cards Playoff birth in 2011 on Sept. 1 We are talking playoff birth here… way harder for Cards on Sept. 1 in 2011 to make playoffs than now. There is no debate on this one point.

    Watched some YouTube of Misiorowski…. Have to come away just impressed. Tall and long, lanky and thin. A body you would expect to gain another 25 pounds of muscle. Throwing high 90s with above avg control. Interested in what others think… feels like a Strasberg type of talent coming up. His starts could turn into must see stuff.
