  1. Watching the Mets try to score runs is like watching the Brewers try to score runs.
  2. ARAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. If Wood can save this game I'm buying his jersey!
  4. Man, this could be a crushing loss for the Mets if those wonderful Cubs can somehow pull this one out.
  5. yuck. bases loaded walk. tie game
  6. Why would CC want to pitch for this team next year? The Brewer's infield defense would probably cost Sabathia about 5 or 6 wins in a full year.
  7. Hey, at least we all still have our health! Right? (aaahh...who am I fooling? I fell like crap right now. I really thought this was the year.)
  8. Craig Counsell has 229 AB's and 12 stinking RBI. To put it in perspective, Ben Sheets has 5. He's not far behind.
  9. If I am to be sent to hell when I die, I hope that I don't have to watch today's game for eternity. That would be beyond cruel.
  10. I said earlier that I can't take anymore. But I will be back. I have for 30 years and I'm not going to stop now. Until someone on this freaking team actually comes up to me and clubs me in the head with a baseball bat, I will still watch this train wreck of a franchise.
  11. At least the Brewers didn't have to watch the Cubs do their "We won the Divsion!" celebration.
  12. I have to say that I can't take anymore of this BS. Today was the final nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned. This team just can't seem to handle the pressure of "Big Boy" baseball. Oh, and how many times can a team fail to get runners in with RISP? Seriously. The law of averages would seem to indicate that more than a couple of times in a month, a team would come through in those situations. Not your Milwaukee Brewers. I've been following this team for over 30 years and I've never been more disgusted than I am today.
  13. Yes, that was the best hit ball Braun's had in a long time. It would have been waaaaaaayyyyyyy out.
  14. Counsell also swung and misses on two pitches at eye level.
  15. Why doesn't that fat, lazy umpire get in position to see the tag?
  16. I listened to the Pinella/Santo pre-game show on the radio yesterday. Talk about brutal. One man sounded like he just got hit in the head with a 2X4, the other sounded like he just woke up from a coma. I feel sorry for the folks that listen to that every day.
  17. Let me guess. The Cubs get nine 12-game homestands. Their longest road trip is two games. I know the math doesn't quite work, but MLB will figure it out for them.
  18. Met's choking? New Flash: The Brewers are choking, too. In fact, they began choking before choking was cool.
  19. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
  20. "Mr. Yost, this is the captain of the Titanic speaking. Have you finished rearranging those deck chairs yet?"
  21. The World Series loss still stings and will continue to sting until the Brewers win a World Series. I don't see that happening soon. Maybe it will never happen in my lifetime. My only regret is that my 11-year-old son now loves the Brewers. Some day I will have to apologize to him for turning him on to this loser franchise.
  22. I would admire this lineup if it said Gamel 3B instead of Counsell.
  23. Since I've banned myself from the Vent Thread, I've decided this thread should be my next stop. I know the last 12 days have been very trying, but I think this team has one more hot streak in them. Let's hope it starts tomorrow. Also, we actually have a 3 game playoff spot lead in mid-September. No matter what has transpired this month, that is still pretty freaking awesome for long suffering Brewer fans. Thirty four years and counting for me.
  24. I'm out of vents this year. See you next year. Have a nice winter.
