The Brewers pretty much just gave them Balfour, too. He's their setup man now, isn't he? edit: Ok, we got McClung for Balfour. Balfour this year has 57 K's in 39 innings. A 1.39 ERA and a WHIP of .897. Not bad. And Melvin traded him because of one bad outing last year?
I'd rather see neither of them. Although I don't know what the Brewers have to replace them. I think Durham's days as an everyday 2nd basemen are over. If Durham could play other positions I would rather have him than Counsell. I still believe Weeks is going to have a real good season soon, but it won't be with the Brewers. He may need a change of scenery.
Bill Hall has been lost for quite some time now. I think they've even taken his picture off the milk cartons. BTW, this game is starting to look like yesterday all over again.
It seems to me at this point in time, with Cameron pretty hot, that he should be batting third instead of Kapler. Of course, to Ned, thatwould mean putting Cameron in leftfield and Kapler in centerfield.
Hey Sheets, you've been outpitched by Dave Bush since the break. Maybe even Suppan. Some dink GM will still give him 90 mil for 5 years. We should start calling you Ben "Big Game" Sheets. No wait, Ben Sheets "the bed." That's better.
I also dislike having a player so good that he is the starting pitcher for the NL All Star team. Sheets did deserve the All-Star bid. He got the start because others weren't available.
Well, two pitches. That was a hanging curve to Bourne (sp) that he hit for a triple. In the meantime, the Moeller gave up at least 11 baserunners in 5 1/3 innings.
Since the Allstar break Sheets has: Barely made it through 5 innings against the crappy Giants Got beat by the AAA Braves Lost to the crummy Padres Fell apart against the Astro Juggernaut. He did beat the powerhouse Nationals, though.
