  1. That's funny you said "Suppanesqe" numbers, because about 3 starts ago I said Sheets was starting to pitch like Suppan. He can't put hitters away for some reason. Like Suppan, he can get ahead 0-2 and then he has to throw a half dozen pitches to get the guy out.
  2. Yost's love for Kendall is kind of creepy, if you ask me.
  3. Making adjustments at the plate isn't part of the Brewer's game plan. Man, this dude is probably going to have 6 wins after this game, and 3 of them are going to be against Milwaukee.
  4. Some desperate franchise will give him his money. Apparently Melvin traded Sheet's soul to Cleveland along with LaPorta.
  5. There roster doesn't have enough players to cover for said low-average hacks.
  6. The Cubs kicked our arses fair and square this series...I don't think you can fault Ned for the losses, the players were just downright abysmal. But even so, I don't think he acquitted himself very well this series. Simply put, he's not a very good manager.
  7. Is it possible that the Brewers have had a bad luck string when it comes to hiring hitting coaches? God knows they've had a bad luck string when it comes to hiring managers.
  8. Well, the trade deadline has passed. Too late for the Brewers to get anything for Sabathia and Sheets. I guess were stuck with them.
  9. Nice try Bill. It was only a foot outside and a foot low. One big difference between the Brewers and the Cubs is that we will swing at that crap and they won't.
  10. Well, we still need just a split in this series. Hopefully Sheets will be on his game tomorrow and we can see one of those priceless Zambrano meltdowns.
  11. Man, I would hate to be at this game with all the Cubs fans there. Now I know how Vikings fans feel when the Packers come into town.
  12. Torres is pitching like Suppan tonight. Get out in front of the hitter and then nibble away until it's 3-2 and then .... boom.
  13. Don't worry, our next hitting coach will fix that. Skaalen is too busy slapping him on the ass and telling him he's doing a good job.
  14. I think I heard a few boo birds for Weeks after that strikeout.
  15. The play by Weeks was the most disgusted I've heard Brian Anderson in his two years.
  16. Does Suppan deserve a spot in the rotation? Yes, Nashville's rotation. I must admit, I hate watching Suppan pitch. I actually expect him to give up 5 runs every inning. I don't know how he gets batters out. The only problem I see with putting him in the bullpen is that I don't believe Bush or McClung are any better than Suppan. So, I think Yost should pick two out of the three and put the other in the bullpen.
  17. Letting Parra start the 7th on Friday, and letting Suppan give up 7 in the fifth today, I believe Ned Yost from 2007 has returned. That's not good.
  18. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice, Ned. Might as well let the piece of crap throw about 130 pitches now.
  19. Do we have someone we can platoon Suppan with?. Like, Suppan pitches on the 5th Tuesday of every month that begins with "D." Then the other half of the platoon can pitch all the other games.
  20. Things looked so rosy a half hour ago. Now the Cubs-Marlins are tied and the Brewers are losing.
  21. Umm...bullpen...please? Nice. Pitcher safe on the sac bunt and now bases loaded and no outs.
