  1. Considering the "schedule makers" love for the Cubs this year, I won't feel sorry for the bums.
  2. This thread sure took a 90 degree turn. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. How can anyone take Justice seriously after that statement?
  4. Bill Hall. Need I say more?
  5. Me too. Schroeder made it sound like Fielder was sitting on the bag eating a popsicle when the third baseman put the tag on him.
  6. I know it's an unearned run (thanks Hall), but could Bush make it through the first inning once without the other team scoring?
  7. Corey Hart should not be batting first in the order. We need him in the five spot to drive in runs.
  8. Man, the Astros radio announcers are really whining about the umpiring in this game. If these guys were posting their comments on this board, Brian would ban them! What a couple of clowns.
  9. The way the Cubs are going, this won't even phase them. Edit: Soriano was hit by former Brewer Jeff Bennett.
  10. This one has heartbreak written all over it.
  11. Kendall? First HR of the year? Is Dave Bush pitching?
  12. The Astros radio announcers sound perplexed that Backe melted down in the 4th inning. Dudes, he's not that good. Maybe that's why he melted down.
  13. I think the Brewers are going to need more than 5 runs to win this game. I think this is going to be one of those 10-9 games.
  14. Congratulations to Griffey Junior. Now let's hope Melvin can talk the Reds into a Griffey for Cameron trade. I think they were traded for each other once before, weren't they? I'm sure the Reds would love to have Cameron.
  15. The Brewers and Twins weren't even big rivals when the Brewers were in the American League.
  16. The dunderheads on ESPN aren't paid to think. They are paid to talk.
  17. If this guy pitched for the Kansas City Royals no one would know he existed. We know the jackasses at ESPN wouldn't.
  18. If this guy pitched for the Kansas City Royals no one would know he existed. We know the jackasses at ESPN wouldn't.
  19. If this guy pitched for the Kansas City Royals no one would know he existed. We know the jackasses at ESPN wouldn't.
  20. After the Cubs last homestand, especially when they beat the Rockies after being down by eight runs, I became resigned to the fact that this is their year to win the division. I just can't root for them. The wild card is a more reasonable expectation right now. The Brewers are only 3.5 behind St. Louis, with Houston, Florida and Atlanta ahead of them. They can play with these teams.
  21. Any one know when the last time a Brewer pitcher threw back to back CG's? My guess is: Billy Travers!!
  22. He looks more like Princess Fielder to me this year. That's one of the funniest lines this year, Rydogg.
  23. I have never been able to figure out ESPN's love of this guy. Personally, I know of no one that likes his work. He must have come across some incriminating pictures of someone high up in the ESPN chain. If you've ever seen the Seinfeld episode where Kramer would go into a seizure whenever he heard Mary Hart's voice, that is what Berman does to me. This topic may have been covered before, but I don't recall.
  24. I wish Ramirez would hit a HR. I'm sick of looking at him.
  25. Is that Gagne pitching for the Dodgers?
