Well, this road trip starts out with the "stupid, unlucky" Brewers. Let's hope it's just one inning of "stupid, unlucky." This team is sooooo well coached.
To me, this has been the most disappointing series of the year. Just 2 weeks ago we split with St.L. at their place. To have them come into Milwaukee, depleted, and not even facing their top two starters and getting swept. . . well, sad. This team has fallen flat on their face too many times this year. St. Louis could have thrown their AAA team at the Brewers this week and got a sweep. moof
Brewers got what. . . 2 hits off some guy just called up from AAA through five innings. Boy that's surprising. In the meantime, Davis is letting the game slip away against the Cards "B" lineup. Wonderful.
When you're near 100 pitches in the 4th it's quite obvious that Davis wan't going to be eating any more innings. Take him out and let somebody else try. moof
Luckily, Davis walked in a run. It could have been much worse. Why Yost didn't have Helling ready to pitch to Wright is beyond me. Wright bats about .400 against lefties. Just another case where Yost displays his astute managerial abilities moof
Did anyone see Mandkfheopwif hit the ground when Hall pulled back the bunt and swung away. He was charging from first and hit the deck as if someone yelled "Grenade!!" moof
The last few weeks Santana is starting to show why he's kicked around for so long. He's just not pitching very well. Now's a good time to turn it around
Sigh...somedays I wish my dad got me interested in ballet instead of baseball. I'm sure there aren't many ballet fans sitting at home, ready to throw a brick at their t.v. madmoofhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
