Got that nervous anticipation feeling right now, but morning chores will keep me occupied until the game starts. I'm hoping Gasser is the unsung hero he has the definite potential to be. Go get 'em lads. 3-0 sure has a nice ring to it, don't you think? 😀

I hope the lads have rallied around Henderson. Stuff happens in a game, but you've gotta get on with it. Looking forward to his next outing. BTW, where is Harrison? Is he going to get a look in at some stage?

It'll be very largely irrelevant unless you're Australian, and a fan of particular teams, but I can think of three instances that scarred me big time. Two in the Australian Football League (one which took 21 years to redeem, the other is as raw as it was 8 years ago) and one in what is now called the NRL (rugby league), that only took 2 years to rectify. I also know what it feels like to experience, as a fan of course, a team's first ever title. I'm hoping 2026 will be the second time, because the first was 45 years ago, and I'd like to savour that feeling one more time.

Been thinking along similar lines for a couple of days. Last year the Brewers might've been a year too young. This year the Dodgers might be a year too old. However, there is an old saying: Too old, too slow, too good. The lads won't be getting ahead of themselves. One play at a time. Looking forward to seeing how Lara goes now that there's some pressure on. He's with his mate Coop so should be OK. Go get 'em Brewers, take no prisoners, and leave it all on the field.

How good is this? 😃 Unlucky 13 indeed. Just so very very happy for the lads. The lack of carry-on from them after the game speaks volumes. They know they really haven't done anything yet. Dodgers eh? Dare I say it, it's like deja vu all over again 😂

Assuming it is Gasser, then go get 'em Robert 😃 Last years' experience will help immensely. He'll be OK. The simple fact is you've got to get games into young players in high pressure situations. There's no simulation that can compare to the real thing.
