    come on, double play ball

Nice inning for Villanueva. Strikes out the first batter he faces in the majors.

Hopefully JDLR can keep us in this and we can chip away at this lead. As for Ben, he has no reason to be on our 40 man roster. I wish him the best of luck in KC or Tampa Bay.

    Jorge is Spanish for George.
  5. giffted1
Ben must really like Nashville. Get George in here.

Opposing pitchers will fear the day when we're going on all cylinders.
  7. giffted1
Wow. When Jorge gets ahead in the count the batter might as well just walk to the bench. The more is see him pitch, the more I want him in the rotation.
  8. giffted1
Looks like we got the good Jorge tonight!!

Gotta love Doug Melvin Bush with a complete game shutout today Overbay goes 0 for 4 today

Has Jamey Wright finally learned to pitch in the bigs? Looks like he'll pick up his third win tonight.

Should have left De La Rosa in. He might have walked a couple of runs in but he would have eventually struck someone out and only given up a couple of runs. Just remember that Adams isn't a AAA pitcher.

Would have been nice to do more damage but it was good to see prince get that monkey off his back. D Bow coming in for D Save.

It is so nice to have a sold lineup. Our 6th,7th,and 8th hitters have combined for 7 hits.

I feel that too many people on this board think that the only ones with a right to post on this board are people that know everything there is to know about baseball. Some new people come and post some unsupported opinion and get completely ripped apart. It's their opinion and it should be respected. You can dissagree with their opinion but don't insult them. Brewerfan.net would suggest that this is a site for Brewers fans. Not all Brewer fans are going to know a lot about baseball if anything, but these casual fans are just as important as the rest of us. What if we'd tell all the "uneducated" baseball fans that they weren't welcome in Miller Park. Our attendance would make Devil Rays games look packed.

Casey Kopitzke's dad was my little league coach one year. Nice to see he's doing good in the few at bats he's had this spring. He's great behind the plate, his hitting just needs to come around. Casey's brother Chad was actually a pitcher in the Brewers organization a few years ago.

Nice to see Palmisano starting the spring strong. Hopefully he can keep it up this season and move back up the Power 50.

While constantly pounding their same opinion over and over some peole must have passed up the overall message of this thread. Stats Dont Mean Everything. But if you want to play the stat game.... Who has been the more productive shortstop since the All-Star Break? I'll answer my own question. JJ Hardy I have been extremely impressed with JJ's performance. I'll admit that he had a horrible first half. But to turn it around and out produce Bill Hall in the second half is impressive. The fact that he has done this shows that he has a higher ceiling than Mr. Hall and warrants taking a few lumps with him so we can be better in the future.
  18. giffted1
You can't base defensive skills on stats. The only way to judge defensive ability is to watch a game with an open mind. From watching games its easy to tell that Hall has more range, but JJ is much more consistent. Personally, I prefer consistency, so I like JJ.

When will the Wes Obermueller experiment end?
  20. giffted1
Great, a huge lead. We can afford to give JDLR a few innings later in the game.
  21. giffted1
Wow, another nice outing for Helling. I'm impressed. How soon before we pencil him in as our No. 5 starter for next year?
  22. giffted1
JJ isn't startinghttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif What is Yost on??? There is absolutely no reason why Hall should start before Hardy. When will this man-love end??
  23. giffted1
Tomo Ohka is only 29. Should he have a future in Milwaukee???
