  1. Maybe we'll start hitting him now that everyone in the lineup has had a chance to see him.
  2. that could have been a lot worse. Still, a few more runs would be nice.
  3. Apparently you cannot stop John Buck, you can only hope to contain him
  4. I know it's not game related, but those of you who are in the milwaukee area and can hear local TV/radio, could you post something about this whole bus situation when details become available?
  5. What?! Everyone who posts on internet message boards is smarter than every manager out there. Didn't you know that?
  6. Well, at least we can take solice in the fact that we're not Cleveland right now. 12-4 to the cubbies...Yeesh.
  7. Some might argue that with such a light workload he would have no excuse whatsoever to come out with absolutely no command of his pitches. Had he pitched 20+ pitches for 2 or 3 nights in a row I might blame his workload.

  9. And I think that is probably why they have no choice but to trade Carlos, as much as I love him. I wish Jenkins could stop sucking (last night notwithstanding) for long enough to bring his trade value up from somewhere between zero and nil. edit: sp
  10. Fair enough, but that doesn't really matter. This game could have been 6-5 or 8-7 for all I care, it would be nice to be able to go to the bullpen and feel like you've got at least a 50/50 shot getting a scoreless inning. I NEVER feel that way anymore, regardless of who they trot out there. A "reliever" should bring some "relief". The only thing these guys bring is heartburn or montezuma's revenge, but definitely not much "relief."
  11. well if there's one thing we're good at it's 9th inning heroics. Come on offense, bail out our crappy bullpen for the umpteenth time.
  12. Coming down from the high of Fielder's homer was a doozy. I feel like someone just kicked my dog and then spat in my ice cream sundae.
  13. Well, the "glass half full" guy would say the same applies to Detroit. But I'm a "half empty" guy so I'll agree with you
  14. Bume! game, set, match. Matt Wise, doghouse. Doghouse, Matt Wise.
  15. How about, demote our entire bullpen to Nashville and call up their entire bullpen. What is the worst that could happen, we'd have the worst team ERA in MLB? Oh, wait, that's already happened.
  16. This team is just like last year's team...they are absolutely allergic to .500. Any time they spend too much time around .500, their eyes start watering, their throat swells up... ugh. I am hating life right now.

  18. I'd be all for it if it weren't for the fact that he's probably our 2nd most reliable reliever. (*shudder*).
  19. Hmm...I wish I could say no one could have seen this coming.
  20. I am going to rage all over something. Time to put the kids to bed, I don't want them to see this immature temper tantrum I am about to unleash.
  21. come on Rickie, blow the doors off of this mutha. edit: Or ground out meekly to the pitcher. Either one.
  22. crap...they kinda forced our hand there. Nice call on Detroit's part by walking brady.
