    This is a series that I cannot get up for at all. The best case senario (Brewers sweep) means nothing because they go on the road right away and in all probability would undo a sweep in 1/2 a week. Even if they could manage a sweep it means nothing. That sucks.

    Jenkins can put all the bad feelings behind him with a big series. I believe he can do it. Homer and 3rbis would be great tonight. We have to score first. Clark needs to get on right away, bunt him over, and get a clutch hit. I want to play from ahead right away.

    I am officially protesting this game and will not watch because Hart is not starting. It is way too painful to watch Jenkins struggle against every lefty. I never said Hart was Hall of Fame bound. I simply think that he can help contribute more than Jenkins can against lefties. Why are most comments taken to extremes?

    I'm not piling on Jenkins because I like him in the lineup. One of the most frustrating things of this week=Corey Hart with 0 at bats. He can't even get one during he week?

    This was mentioned by Kevin Goldstein on Baseball Prospectus: "Like Veal, Brewers center fielder Charlie Fermaint has been a long-time KG favorite, and a pair of scouts had similar opinions on him, seeing him as a possible starting outfielder in the big leagues now, with the potential to improve that rating." The word that caught my attention was "now." That's an incredible thing to say, especially since it came from 2 scouts. I thought it was worth mentioning.

    That's exactly what it was. No way. Even though they are in a pennant race ( a big stretch) he still has many young guys who need to learn. I liked the fact that he was decisive in sitting him right away. As John Wooden once said, there is no better teacher than the bench. He deserved to sit after that garbage throw. It was a completely mental error, not physical.
