  1. The endings by themselves are making the show worth it.
  2. The endings of these past two shows hve been priceless.
  3. the gaydar was absolutely hilarious.
  4. He started at second for the Red Sox last year after they traded for him. They won 90+ games, and he hit .319/.355/.457 for them. and you forgot to add: had a huge error in the playoffs against Chicago which eventually eliminated them.
  5. Unless Capuano looked like he was laboring badly there is no reason to take him out. See the last batter in the 6th.
  6. Go to the bottom of this thread to see exactly why Capuano should have been pulled after the Cabrera homer: p092.ezboard.com/fbrewers...1&stop=100 I can understand not pulling Bush, even Davis, but for the third game in a row Yost had the chance to be pre-emptive. Remember, a lights out lately Capellan was warmed up and ready to go. I just think Yost should make quicker adjustments.
  7. I'm not sure there is one Brewer who really thinks they can win a close game on the road.
  8. If you were listening to the radio broadcast, Powell explained it really well. 1. Capuano raced out to the mound to start the inning but forgot about "God Bless America." So he stood in the sun while every other player was in the dugout. 2. Then he took his warmup pitches but the umpire gave the full allotment of time to the rest of the players to warmup. Capuano had to stand there again. 3. He has to stand on 3rd base for what seemed like forever because we can't just drive him in right away. 4. After Capuano scored Mench did not take pitches for him so he could rest. Now, somebody wrote that they have mentioned about a million times on the broadcast that it is hot and muggy. Throwing 90 pitches is like throwing 110 today considering everything I just wrote. Cabrera hits the home run, Capellan is warming up, that was the time to take him out. I wasn't just ranting, I was thinking the decision through.
  9. Ned Yost is getting beat and used like a rented mule in this series. Has a Brewer manager ever handled a staff in a series worse than this one? I guess Ned doesn't learn.
  10. Who's the better shortstop this year: Hall or Jeter? Discuss...
  11. Is there really no TV for tonight? It's Friday. Please, someone tell me that's wrong.
  12. I can't believe how high that batting average is. Logic dictates that it has to come down--hopefully soon.
  13. I get more excited to listen to the game when Hart is in. Steal second Corey.
  14. No doubt Rodriguez was called up just because it's the Brewers. Let's make Houston pay for trying to set up this matchup.
  15. I can't remember the last time I felt this way but I have tickets for tomorrow's game and I don't want to go. I'd rather do something else.
  16. There is no doubt in my mind that Sheets will end the season on the DL. It's only a matter of time....
  17. The Truth continues to amaze. This is a dead serious question: if he is just good next year and not great how many people on this site will be disappointed?
  18. I'm willing to bet that Sheets is pitching with discomfort tonight but is not going to take himself out. The things I noticed 1) he walked the first guy (never a good sign for him). 2) he was throwing 88 in the first innning (according to the radio). I believe we will hear about him "not feeling right" tomorrow.
  19. It's nice to see Jenkins in there tonight. I hope people cheer him.
  20. I wonder whether this team can play 8 games over .500 the rest of the way to finish .500. lol!
  21. Game is on 1290 AM in the Milwaukee area.
  22. Yost said on the radio today that Gross is starting in right field.
  23. Why not us? I said the same thing last year, but I just can't convince myself to do it this year. I'm tempted, but not this year, not again.
  24. Mike Rollins-I mean this in a nice way-I want some of what you are drinking. I need it bad!
