  1. No argument on the pathetic hitting. It speaks for itself.
  2. What's garbage is all the low expectations and excuses. Welcome to another losing season.
  3. I know we were playing the Cardinals but why should that matter? If we want to be in the playoffs then we have to beat the best teams. We have to step up the expectations here. He is our #1, I'm expecting that he takes the Cardinals to the shed.
  4. He pitched "great"? No, great is a shutout. Good is giving up 3 runs. That is real. What's is with all the excuses here? So what if the guy got lucky? So what if the pitch was eye high? It wasn't good enough. Another loss.
  5. He gave up a home run to the kid in left. He's not heading to the hall of fame.
  6. I agree that it's "not bad" but it's not good enough. I think most Brewer fans have seen enough performances that would be described as "not bad." Once again, I just want better. That's all.
  7. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend with a meaninless statement. Next time I will ask for permission to write.
  8. The Brewers not producing with RISP is the EXACT reason why he should have pinch hit.
  9. Impressed with Eveland. He's faced some studs and done well. Now give him 3 days off. I dont' want to see another travis smith, neugebauer, diggins...have any others just add them.
  10. The best thing is that the journal/setinel won't even challenge Yost on that decision. SOFT!
  11. If we have a 8 million dollar right fielder who can't come in because : A) he needs a day off or B) a left would just come in then we need a new right fielder.
  12. 12 losing seasons has just made me bitter. I like watching Ben ptich, I just want him to dominate and carry the team for the 2nd half. I believe he goes on an incredible tear the Brewers can contend for the wild card. I'm desperate to watch meaningful baseball in September!
  13. I just think a #1 should do whatever it takes to get the job done. If excuses want to be given than why expect anything more than average. Geese, I didn't realize the close community here. No more on this topic.
  14. Look, I'm not implying that he isn't good but I'm tired of mediocrity. Sheets gets another loss tonight and blows a chance to give the Brewers an opportunity to take the series. I would like to see the Brewers win a series against the Cardinals. But then again, maybe we should just accept average as our goal. How about expecting more than the just the average-like a 5-6 record?
  15. Other guys with a 3.50 era: Jon Garland John Patterson Kerry Wood Jeff Suppan Matt Clement Era doesn't show #1 status. Hopefully Sheets is mad at himself for not keeping runs of the board early.
  16. Open my eyes? I have them open and see about 5 wins so far. Should I see something else?
  17. Anyone else really tired of seeing Sheets put the team behind every fricking game. I'm not seeing a stud #1 out there.
