Absolutely no shot for Bauers.

I mean you say this like Bauers and Vaughn aren’t roughly defensive equals, which they pretty much are. Bauers made those plays tonight and good on him, they were huge. But Vaughn is equally capable of making or missing those same exact plays. We know Bauers isn’t playing these games for his glove.

I’d counter with Vaughn here but nothing we’ve seen this entire postseason makes me think it’s going to happen.

Not that Frelick did anything wrong, but I wish he had tried breaking for home when Pratt was in the rundown. Best case maybe a bad throw to the plate and everyone is safe, worst case he gets thrown out but then Pratt still gets into scoring position and you haven’t really lost anything.

Mitchell has been a tough postseason watch. I have no idea what he was looking for but that was not the approach for that count or situation.
