To be clear, if it came down to Harrison or Drohan, I would have had a lot more faith in Harrison,

I still cannot believe we had a chance to finish the championship season with a 1 run lead in extras and Murphy handed the ball to Shane freaking Drohan.

“At least” 7? He hasn’t gone 7 innings in almost 3 months. There is nearly zero chance of getting 7 innings out of Miz tomorrow.

I had no plans to be until you “lol’ed” me and accused me of calling for Murphy’s firing if Miz blew it tonight, which, JFC, give me a little more credit than that.

Well, can’t guarantee it but likely more reliable than your crystal ball that was utterly calm and confident that we had this won in the 7th and would be popping champagne by 10:15.

Look, I’m not predicting them to lose the series, or even tomorrow, but this is silly: 1) they’ve already lost one, independently they only need to lose 3 now, not 4 2) any team can win 3 games in MLB at any point of the season 3) they’ve did lose 4 in a row twice this season. if they win this series, which they still should, it’ll be because they earned it, not because losing a series that you’re up 3-1 in is some impossible task,

He literally hasn’t given up a run in the playoffs in the first inning. He's still throwing 103-104, he’s dispatching the bottom of the Rays order with relative ease without relying too much on the defense and we’re celebrating right now.

I hope they do. As fun as it would be to celebrate at home I have no desire to see the series go back to Milwaukee and be one loss away from a deciding elimination game.

If you can’t get an out against the bottom of the Rays order you have no business on a playoff roster.

No. Like I said I think they probably win tomorrow but also,..nothing would surprise me that much.

I mean, tonight is probably a better example for not being thrilled to see Drohan on the roster.

They do not, but if there’s ever a sports team that could have me ready to pop champagne because it seems inevitable, and then somehow systematically crumble over the next 4 games, that has been consistent with the Brewer experience my entire life.

I think they win tomorrow, but if there’s ever an organization that would somehow dupe us into thinking it was all over and then historically shatter our hearts over the next 4 games, it’s the Brewers.

Bauers should’ve picked it, but if you are going to be like 4 for 50 as a hitter in the playoffs you better make a clean freaking throw to 1st from 3rd with plenty of time.

Well that did happen this season , but it was not very pretty, and Bauers and Vaughn were not very pretty defensively but Sanchez was other level.

Maybe you just go Miz now and don’t bluff it and try to end this season ? only problem if it doesn’t work, you pretty much have to piggyback Harrison and Drohan tomorrow
