  1. Wish they could do that with Yelich.
  2. Can’t blame Hamilton for trying to get a bunt down because when he is not getting a bunt down he is pretty useless.
  3. Nothing in baseball irritates me more than walking multiple guys with a big lead.
  4. Don’t walk guys with a 4 run lead. Good grief. Thank goodness for Vaughn’s 3 insurance runs.
  5. At some point they are going to have to accept that 2019 was a long time ago.
  6. Give me one reason besides not wanting to rock the boat on a longtime Brewer great that Vaughn isn’t the regular DH over Yelich.
  7. Probably the weirdest part was knowing you were going to option a guy for Woodruff after the game and still not using him in a blowout.
  8. Because Pat Murphy runs a great clubhouse but makes very questionable in-game decisions.
  9. Mitchell just bailed you out, Murph.
  10. I defended the Patrick usage in his last outing because I thought they were trying to keep him stretched out but he’s clearly still not rested enough to pitch again. It’s looking like a bizarre decision from Murphy to not use Rom in a blowout win just to option him the next day.
  11. Everyone but the 7-8-9 in the lineup has a higher OPS and can actually field a position.
  12. Apparently Yelich can at least beat Suarez in a foot race.
  13. A .738 OPS for the leadoff DH hog.
  14. I’m not saying it was a mistake to bring him up, but people are going to be disappointed in his this year if they are expecting big things. He’s probably going to be Joey 2.0 this season.
  15. If you feel frustrated with our inability to score runs this series, at least you’re not a Reds fan.
  16. Yeah let’s maybe just hit homers.
  17. Generally teams don’t bench their best hitter when their offense is struggling. That hasn’t helped,
  18. I think what should hurt the Red Sox the most is knowing that if Harrison and Drohan were still on their team they would still be afterthoughts.
  19. No, I just want him to swing the damn bat a little more when he has a chance to drive in runs.
  20. Bauers is having a very nice season, but I am really tiring of his passive 2 strike approaches with men in scoring position. Far too many backwards K’s.
  21. Murphy when Vaughn asks if he’s starting tonight
  22. I’m still sad. This is a tough one. Giannis was the kind of player you really wanted to see here for his entire career. Nonetheless, they did what they had to do. Losing Giannis for nothing would have been catastrophic. And it’s clear that they weren’t going to be able to do anything more than be a fringe playoff team for the rest of his career here. You can’t really replace a Giannis one for one but I can’t fault them for taking basically the equivalent of six 1st round picks.
  23. True. Nobody gets it right 100% of the time. But when you look at this organization compared to league averages, they are definitely right more often than they are wrong.
