    Never to early to start the hot stove talk! I like this, no one would of thought Hoffman would of been this good this year. To bad we had to waste his great season. Sign him back up!

    Prince hits .299, .299 That sucks. I really wanted him to hit .300 (even though BA doesnt mean as much as OBP) However, I never would of guessed Prince would hit .299 this year however. I love the big guy.

    I always told myself, never trust anything you see in Sept/October or March/Early April. I would LOVE Narveson to be real, however I have been fooled way to many times to trust him.

    100 percent Braves. My sister is a braves fan, and I don't like the Rockies at all. Also, playing the rockies makes it alot easier to cheer for the Braves, at least we can try to spoil a teams season.

    Watching Prince grab and hug Braun like he did, makes me not want to trade Prince this off season. Get a pitcher and see what happens with these 2. They are two special players.

    I love how they didn't even jump up and down. They just shook his hand and and patted him on the helment, and prince hugged him. I wonder if it was because of the last time they celebrated a walk off win. Also, that was a BOMB.

    Mauer will get more, but he is a hometown boy so I could see him accepting this offer. That doesn't mean the Twins should give him that much money however.

    Chad Gaudin as a Yankee - 3.17 ERA Chad Gaudin as a Cub - 6.26 ERA I have not really said anything about Hardy up until now, I think the Brewers will get alot better player then Guthrie. Hardy's trade value is down yes, but come on. He is a great defensive shortstop, he is 27 years old and has 2 years left before he is a FA. If he was having the year he had last year (which I know he's not) he would be 3rd in the NL in OPS by a SS. You just don't get the production out of a shortstop that Hardy was giving Milwaukee, a couple teams are going to see Hardy and be willing to take a risk of him. Awesome point! The NL Central definitely is on par with the AL East as far as ERA adjustment is concerned . . .Yeah because that's exactly what I was saying I was just pointing out that going from the AL to the NL doesn't automatically turn you into some great pitcher. Is it more hard? Sure. But its not like its a guarentee thing. Gaudin pitching in the AL - 4.29 NL - 5.36 Derrek Lee will crush a 90 MPH fastball just as quickly as Alex Rodriguez will.

    Melvin never said anything about people. He was talking about "the notion". I still don't understand how a GM of a baseball team can call a "notion" that playing your two best prospects is stupid. We are not making the playoffs. There is no reason to NOT play Gamel right now.

    Yeah, those guys that drive in 100 every year are a dime a dozen.The point is, to say "Well he has 78 rbi's so that means he is a good offensive player". Is not a good argument at all.

    With a sac fly off of Astors RP Jose Valverde, Felipe Lopez scored from 3rd base for Fielder's 127th RBI of the season, breaking Cecil Coopers 26 year old record. Congrats Prince!

    I just thought about Prince hitting in Texas for 81 games a year entering his prime. Geez. But anyways, we better be getting a big haul if we trade Prince. If we are listening to offers he is the best hitter out there. Don't settle for 2nd best DM, we dont have to trade him.

    Suzuki has a OBP of .304. He has 24 walks this year. Kendall's OBP this year is .324. This is a trade that would get Melvin fired, and Billy Beane the GM of the year award. Also, RBI's are a terrible way to judge how good a player is.

    In his first at bat against D-Backs SP Doug Davis, Ryan Braun hits a line drive over the right field fence for his 100th career home run in just his 3rd year. This season may not of been as good as some hoped, but this is quite an accomplishment for Braun. Awesome that we locked him up long term, congrats Ryan!     The people who go to the games and have to watch him for one. Second of all, there's no reason for him to play at all. He's the worst position player on our roster, he shouldn't be playing over anybody. And since the Brewers are out of the race, don't you think the fans would rather watch the future? Guys like Gamel and Escobar over scrubs like Patterson? Since when does Gamel and Escobar have anything to do with who is playing CF?

    If we can get a really good pitcher for Escobar, Im all for trading him and keeping Hardy.
