  1. This pick makes a lot of sense, I heard Brady is going to host Jeopardy now.
  2. The 49ers are gambling that a team will want one of those three and will give up a lot to get one. If not they will probably go OL or DL with the pick. Rumors are there that Fields is dropping like a rock and could be available in the 15-20 range. Fields is going to make a team regret drafting him. He will be as bad as Trubisky as he is a very inaccurate passer. I would actually take Trubisky's arm over Fields'. That is interesting, I really like Fields and think he will end up the steal of the draft from the QB perspective. He has one of the highest ceilings (Lance) and his arm is great. You don't complete over 70% of your passes and not have accuracy. Trubisky really failed with learning how to read defenses and anticipating throws. No one questions his physical tools in terms of arm strength and mobility. Fields has it all, now whether he puts it together and ends up in a system that uses his strenghts is another story.
  3. Two weeks until the draft. Hopefully some different discussion of a more upbeat nature coming.
  4. Because they are testing the idea. See how it works out in live action games to get data points. If it works, this is another option to use elsewhere. If not, scrap it and stick only with mound height.
  5. 2nd dose yesterday, arm sore similar to a tetanus shot. No other effects

  7. That's a true statement from my experience. I was on vacation and booked a massage at a local shop and the only availability was a male. His wife was booked up for weeks, but I was able to set a time with him at my convenience same day. No difference at all in the experience and no weirdness. My back felt great after a long flight and I was relaxed for the wedding. That's all I care about.
  8. I'd like to see them just go to Tampa who has never hosted it. Are we even sure that stadiums will be at full capacity by then?

    Pizza

I think you're on the right path, I would also add increased pizza competition and change in quality. Growing up, I remember Pizza Hut being THE game in town for pizza. Dominos was on the downswing and their only competition was a few local shops that tended to be neighborhood focused. Dominos really changed up their game, Papa Johns exploded, Little Caesars has found their niche and there has been a big upswing in artisinal pizzas, food trucks, etc. that all eat into their share. I am also convinced they changed up their recipe which isn't quite the same as it used to be. I haven't eaten pizza hut in over a year and a half and only a handful of times in the past 10 years because I had a store like a quarter mile away. If my family talks about getting pizza, PH never comes up as a preferred option.

    Pizza

I'm guessing it's been a very long time. I have heard it since I started really getting into cooking in the late 90s. I guess the proper question is when did it become a fashionable word. While I have seen/used the term a lot in my baking classes, it really has become more mainstream recently.
  11. Dolphins played this excellent. Assuming 1-2-3 QBs, they are looking at either the top WR, Top LT or the game changing and consensus top TE. Any of which could have been picked at 3 originally. It wouldn't surprise me either if the went someone like Parsons at 6 and a WR or Tackle at 18. Very well done on their part.
  12. Once they shifted to more talk and propped up people like Skip and Stephen A. Smith, I was gone for good. Hot takes really don't capture my attention and I prefer actual analysis and debate.
  13. As an outsider, it seems pretty clear to me that: A: Rodgers was pissed they moved up to draft Love AND did not get him more receiving weapons B: He can clearly see that his contract is structured to give GB their out after this season. By playing his current card of a new contract/money, he is forcing the decision that GB wanted to make after this season to now. Instead of next off season weighing the 2021 performance of Rodgers vs the development of Love (cheap contract), Rodgers pushes that timeline to now on the heels of an MVP season. It appears to me that Rodgers would prefer to stay in GB for his whole career. If GB commits to him now, that is likely the end result. If GB doesn't commit to him with a new deal/money, then Rodgers gets his answer now on their commitment to him. GB could still come back after this year and try to mend it/offer him the long term deal, but it seems to me he would take the current non-decision as a slight and want out.
  14. Im actually with you on that one. One of the things Pace seems to do pretty well at is hitting on mid round picks. Use your 2-7s to fill out the roster and plug holes in FA.
  15. What are they to get their cap number below $175M and field a 53 man roster? If they franchise Robinson again, that's $16M... I don't think ARob plays on the franchise tag. I would guess he gets a long term deal. With their aggressiveness to bring in a starting QB, I'm guessing Arob will be open to an extension. Graham, Skrine, and Massie are a good start. Hicks is a candidate. I'd consider a Fuller trade as well. You also have restructure candidates if you want to maneuver around.
  16. Watson's cap hit this year is only like $13M...and there are lots of cuts and movement that the Bears can do to free up money for Watson and Robinson.
  17. It helps that the D Coordinators that come through Madison have had talent, success and when they leave they tend get a promotion which makes it a very attractive job. I'd hate to lose Leonard though.
  18. I would say without a doubt. Their defense is complete with some studs at every level. And I full expect Desai to bring back the Fangio scheme to capitalize on the playmakers here. They have a running game finally once they figured out their line as the season progressed. Allen Robinson has been fantastic without having a real qb. I expect him back one or another (franchise tag or extension). Mooney shined bright this year as a rookie. Kmet looks like the real deal at TE. Lots of options to add more WR in FA or draft. Put a QB like Watson in there and that looks like a real contender to me..
  19. The situation with Watson is a bit different with the No Trade Clause because he has a bit of say in where he'd like to go. He may not even want to go to Chicago. It would seem likely that he would prefer to go to a team with a roster ready to compete now which would put the mentioned suitors out there now as SF, Chi and Mia. Then you start talking about what the Texans want (value and possibly location). So that may include getting Watson out of the AFC. Then you go to what would teams give up. I would bet that Chicago is willing to give a lot more picks than SF who still has Garoppollo. Do they have those picks? Sure they do. If you're only talking about 2020 1st rounder, they are lower than others. But if you start talking combos of 1st and 2nd rounders, they can run with most teams if they truly want to do that. Add in that Chicago is desperate for a QB, GM/HC are desperate to do something for a QB and they have proven to be willing to make big trades with picks and players. They will be players if Watson and Houston want them in the discussion.
  20. I guess it all depends on how bad they want to hurt their defense. They have Roquan Smith and Jaylon Johnson. Could even offer a Kyle Fuller or Khalil Mack potentially. Their preference is probably to dump picks and a lot of them. The Bears are going to go hard for Watson and being in the NFC is going to help a lot. I don't see Houston dealing with Indy. Jets and Dolphins have higher picks this year, but then you just kept Watson in the AFC. San Francisco would be a great fit too, but I would prefer the Bears for obvious reasons.
  21. No way the Bears go into 2021 with Foles as the starter. Bottom out, worst case scenario is bring back Trubisky and Foles as #2. Pace is going to take a shot at every big name QB available and I'm not sure there are many teams willing to overpay like Chicago will. Other teams may have more immediate capital/higher 2021 draft picks, but with Pace/Nagy on their last chance and not afraid to go big they can't be counted out at all. When you start tossing around 4 first round picks or 3 and a good player, they will be in those talks without a doubt.

    Pizza

That's a great point. When you see wood fired in the US, it's normally priced as artisanal. Go to Europe and it's everywhere at a reasonable price. Much closer to quick/affordable overseas and less seen as a "craft" product.

    Pizza

I love all style of pizza. I'm a topping guy, so having a bit more base supports a greater quantity/variety. I tend to lean more towards a hand tossed for that reason. Thin crust would be a close second. Detroit style is good and the edges turn out great. My least favorite part of a pie is the plain crust at the edge. I can handle it, but prefer to have something more worthwhile to the taste buds. I do like when places like Pizza Hut put flavoring on the edge.

    Pizza

I love adding Cholula to my pizzas. Not every time, but it spices things up nicely. I used to be a Franks Red Hot guy, but Cholula offers a better flavor for pizza (and most items). I would do Franks on Wings and such. But as an overall flavor and spice enhancer, it's hard to top unless you want to add stupid heat.
