    Anybody who is watching. Is benny's curve biting today? It's bitting OK and he also has just OK control of it. Although he is pitching well, his curve still isn't up to Sheets standards yet.

    Ha. Id rather have Weeks stay there then Gross. Gross is a middle of the order type hitter. I guess now I'm confused what you want in a leadoff hitter? Gross gets on base at a very good clip and if you want speed, he's definitely fast enough. He could be a Youkilis-type leadoff hitter, which worked well for Boston last year.

    No, I had Jens Lekman forever, but then I went to Dessens because I don't think he sucks. I'm just getting confused when you post cause I was so used to Lekman.

    He does not have a hit today but has had 3 good AB's working counts. If Gross would have done that today instead of Gwynn, everyone would be demanding he go down to AAA.

    I don't care if you can throw 98 mph. If your fastball is straight as an arrow and never has any movement on it, you'll get shelled. Yeah, cause he's getting shelled right now.

    You know its a rough night when the opposing pitcher is doubling the hit total of the Brewers! I wish he were doubling our total because then we would have a hit. In fact he has infinitely more hits than us.
