    If anyone has the number of games we've given up the lead after the 7th I'd like to see that figure. I see where you guys are coming from. Our hitting and defense haven't been great (defense b/c of really two guys Weeks and Hall) but the fact remains they have done enough to put us in a situation to win games in the later innings. But when we send in the clowns we've gotten severely burned.

    good rebuttal. no I haven't watched this team. Turnblow has blown EIGHT games himself. That right there puts us in the lead for the wildcard.

    Come on now. We're not that far off and not that bad. With even an average bullpen we'd probably be leading in the wildcard race.

    Heck if we're going to trade Carlos Lee to the Angels I'd actually settle for bullpen help. Donnelley and anybody else with an era under 5.

    Hall went the other way a lot more last year. Unfortunately this year he's hit a few more homers and now thinks he's Pedro Cerano.

    I've read this script before. The Brewers go on a bad losing streak then in a couple weeks they get back to .500. They continue to hang there for awhile, then go on another losing streak. Then in a couple weeks they get back to............................................................................and on and on and on.

    I don't blame Yost for our crappy hitting and I don't believe Yost put together this bullpen in the offseason. Will changes be made if this continues? Yes, but it probably won't be Yost. Melvin might axe Wynegar if our O troubles continue, he seemed peeved earlier this week. Maddux is safe. He has shown he can get the job done but hasn't gotten an influx of talent, specifically young talent to work with like Wynegar.

    Package our outfield and our bullpen in a mega deal to get Jermaine Dye. Is that enough or will they demand cash too?

    If ever there was a time to play a contact hitter it would be against Webb. If our guys are swinging for the fences we'll struggle to score more than 2 runs.

    Dude's got the worst slugging percentage on the team. If all you're going to be is a singles hitter you better do better than .270.
