  1. I'd like to say that RRR is just using his media speak, but, I thought he was doing that with Carlos Gomez, Kameron Loe and YuniB. I can no longer give him the benefit of that doubt.
  2. The problem is the utter lack of revenue sharing in the NBA + local TV deals. Slowly it is heading the way of MLB, and it's going to be there sooner rather than later. Haves and Have-Nots.
  3. A big 3-1 victory today over France, with two late goals. US moving on to the Finals, which will be played on Sunday. Anyone know a soccer bar in Madison?
  4. So, at the break, the Brewers have actually been outscored by 1 run on the season, yet they've managed to end up 6 games over .500. Yeah, so, -38 of those runs are BOS and NYY, but it still worries me quite a bit. They've also gone an exceptional 20-13 in one run games. I just saw this and its tempered my expectations for the second half.
  5. 19 saves, 1 win, and now 1 amazing loss for Coco vs the Brewers. Yep. He was due.
  6. You know what they say.... Let those who wear ramen noodle toupees cast the first stone.
  7. No more worried than Prince "messing up his swing" or some such nonsense if he regresses in the second half.
  8. www.sportsradio1250.com is their website. They aren't too bad, their postgame show is usually worth a listen, especially after Brewers losses.... then again, I love reactionary fan call ins!
  9. Well, not so fast, according to Roenicke....
  10. You mean like getting thrown out at second after tagging up from first base twice in the last week when down by multiple runs?
  11. You can have a good result from a bad decision, just like you can have a bad result from a good decision. The problem is, I don't think RRR has any idea he made a bad decision.
  12. Making a move for the sake of making a move is never the right decision. Don't worry, though, we're about 2ABs away from "the fans" collectively saying Gamel sucks.
  13. What does swinging at the first pitch sound like on a roof hotline?
  14. It actually did cost them the playoffs, as that was 2007 and they finished 2 games out of winning the division.
  15. Its been a about 5 years since I've been there, but Sailor Lake in the Chequamegon National Forest is a pretty good campground, although I don't think they have any canoe rentals.
  16. Awesome. Thanks, logan. Glad you don't have my posts on ignore. ha!
  17. Is there a way to ignore specific peoples posts on Yuku? I haven't been able to find it.
  18. Carroll isn't on the 40 man roster, he's also right handed (Boggs is a switch hitter) so the odds of him being called up are lowered by that. Plus I don't believe he can play CF, while Boggs can.
  19. I try to cook them over medium heat. I leave as much husk as I can on, helps keep the corn from drying out. I also soak for about half an hour beforehand if possible, but not necessary. I don't like seasoning, I prefer just to let everyone season their own after the fact. Another tip, if you want to try it, soak an old towel you won't use anymore in water, ring it out gently so no more water drips, and place that on top of the corn each time you turn, it'll keep it from drying out.
  20. Pretty sure they left the lefty in so RRR wouldn't go to Kottaras there. Scary when Gardy is thinking LHP vs McGehee > RHP vs Kottaras.
  21. According to Fangraphs, Loe has 8 meltdowns this season. If you include todays as his 9th, that puts him 1 behind the MLB lead. He has 18 shutdowns as well. By comparison, Axford has 2 meltdowns and 21 shutdowns.
  22. Braddock's guys are the tying runs, right, it's Loe on the hook for the L. I didn't have a problem with him coming in when he did but I did wonder why Braddock was starting the 7th. Where is Hawkins with his .5 ERA? I just don't get why he's never in there.Yeah, I misheard the score. I thought it was 10-7 not 9-7.
  23. And poor Braddock is now on the hook for the L... unbelievable.
  24. Their home wOBA is the best in the league, road wOBA is the 2nd worst in the league. That is just astounding. Also, I won't deny that Greinke has been bad, but, if you want to use WPA (win probability added), collectively, his 62 innings have been worth about as little as the 3 that Daniel Ray Herrera gave us. That's amazing to me.
