The ball got there late and he had to look where the bag was.

Pretty sure you can only ph due to an injury once an AB starts. Pretty sure you can pinch hit whenever you want. Just looked it up. You're right. Pitchers can't be changed during an AB.

The one he fouled off the catcher's knee was right down the middle. He's clearly a guy who doesn't spend any time in the cage working on squaring up.
-
Yeah, always a joy to watch the pitchers hit. Bring on the DH.
-
Arietta smoked that one.
-
FSWI missing pitches again. Edit: They didn't show the first pitch to Shaw. He flew out on a 1-0 count.

Tailor made double play ball booted.

He's 9 for his last 24 (.375) coming into tonight.... I guess... I'd ask what makes you think he's lost?
-
Well, our lefties should just appeal to the 3rd base up the rest of the night. Arietta trying to take out the 3B ump.

Absolutely love how MLB.tv allows me to change the audio overlay, so I can listen to Uke for this series while I watch the game, in perfect sync.

It was 2011.

Nelson out for the year, will miss time in 2018 (post #150)

He's only been pitching since 2007 (he was drafted as a Catcher, orginally), so the mileage and ceiling could be quite different from your typical 32 year old. -
Going to the game on Sunday, first one in a few years. Anyone have any tips/ideas/suggestions for Lambeau & Surrounding areas?

Really is remarkable....too bad they are weenies. Ever since Andujar was a hot dog.
-
Johnny W gonna bring it tomorrow.

Proof that a bad arm behind the plate doesn't lose games.
-
Horrible strike 1 call on Phillips. Would not have had him square again after the first pitch.
-
OKAY BOYS, BADGER MUTUAL CALLED.... THEY WANT SOME INSURANCE RUNS.
-
His spray chart is pretty straight forward, except he hits that outside/Middle outside pitch to Right-Center a lot, hence the OF's swinging that way. SS's usually play him a step or two more to pull as he doesn't hit that many GB up the middle.

I used SLG as it correlates to value better than AVG. But, this season, Braun has really struggled low and away and has absolutely murdered the ball off the inside corner. Yep, he's started 14 games in 28 days. After putting up an .800 OPS in August, he's ridden the pine in favor of Jonathan Villar and Hernan Perez. I just can't fathom that.
-
As much as Counsell might take some heat, he has masterfully managed the pitching staff as the rosters have expanded and the Brewers starters have fallen by the wayside due to ineffectiveness or injury.
-
I'm what might've been the most important plate appearance of the season, with the bases loaded and a full bench, Craig Counsell thought Hernan Perez was the best choice. That might be the first time I've been truly disappointed in him all season.

You can do that. It's been done. The brewers then know who purchased the tickets initially and hold you criminally liable for fraud. Edited to add: They are now selling terrace seats for tonight.
