  1. I'm getting fed up of watching Brady Clark get so much playing time.
  2. I wish Ned Yost would yell and cream and kick some dirt once in a while. It always seems like he never gets upset about bad calls.
  3. One of the more annoying losses of the season. The Pirates scored on a bunch of weekly hit infield groundouts. The Brewers managed to hit into double plays whenever they needed a big hit. A ball down the line goes foul at the last second. Counsell gets called out for rounding the base. Overbay loses the ball while tagging a guy. And finally, everyone seems to ground out weekly to second. Ugh !! It's confusing why Ben Sheets always dominates Houston but finds ways to lose to Pittsburgh. Not that the loss was his fault, but it just seems we don't match up well with teams that single you to death. Oh yeah . . . did I mention how painful it is to see Brady Clark hit lately?
  4. Finally we are about to get some baseball on TV again. I was going crazy without it.
  5. That's five straight days of no Brewers baseball on TV. This is like torture. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing tonight's game just because it feels like it has been ages since I have seen a Brewers game. I hate this.
  6. 18 Strikeouts Oh yeah . . . Brewers win !! http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/2004/05/16/MghVFWzO.jpg
  7. He probably thought he checked his swing and that it was a wild pitch. But still, he should have been running because the umpire did give the out signal.
  8. Helms just doesn't seem to fit in this lineup. Everyone else put together a quality at-bat this inning, but Helms swings at the first pitch and fouls out. This was immediately after the pitcher walked another guy and had no control at all.
  9. Overbay is becoming an MVP candidate. 3-0 Brewers
  10. Ugly start by Kinney, ugly game. Matt Kinney set the tone tonight.
  11. Another strikeout for Ginter. What's going on here ?
  12. I was at the game tonight. No idea why Trent Durrington was the first choice for a pinch hitter. No idea why Ben Grieve did not bat for Clark in the 9th inning. Hmmmm???? Anyway, there was a different feeling at Miller Park tonight. I guess having a winning team, a marquee opponent, a national TV broadcast, and a huge walkup crowd made the whole thing feel like a big-time event. People were actually scoreboard watching and were happy when Houston was losing to New York. It was just different today. You gotta be encouraged by what Victor Santos did tonight. I just wish the Brew Crew would start playing better whenever they get big crowds. This seems to be a big problem for them. Good game overall though.
  13. SWEEEEEEEEP !!! Goodbye Ben Ford. http://ideaspot.net/mlb/NL_Central/small/brewers1-sm.gif http://www.ideaspot.net/flags/other/small/usa-sm.gif
  14. Tying run at the plate. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  15. Nice to see Wes Helms finally getting some hits. His bat is slowly coming around a little. 6-3 Brewers
  16. Which would you rather have: 88 doubles, or 45 homers? That's a tough call. One thing I have noticed is that from an entertainment perspective, it is more fun to have runners on the bases and guys running around.
  17. Hall just hit a bomb. Back to even.
  18. Just got home from Miller Park . . . YEEEAAAAHHHH !!!!
  19. No fault of Ben Ford. Some bad umpiring, a broken bat infield hit, and only one solid fly ball hurt him today.
  20. These guys always play like dead horses in extra innings.
  21. Todd Zeile gets five strikes. Brewers lose.
  22. Thanks for the walks Burba. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
